    the great thing about Bayonne port is that only one cruise ship can dock at the terminal where as Manhattan cruise terminal can dock up to 4-5 ships at the same time. typically usually at Manhattan terminal one ship will dock at pier 88 and another ship at 90 to somewhat ease the crowds in the area

    most likely these are the normal pending authorization holding charge . depending on your credit card provider, they will be automatically removed anywhere from 3 to 7 days . they are not real charges and will be automatically removed eventfully

    its similar to the magic bands. it unlocks your cabin door and you make onboard purchases. be prepared to take it off when doing purchases because most waiters do not have a reader handy not all ships have it and its not really advertised that much

    ncl is cutting back on entertainment, why would they invest in this?

    it is a bit of a pain but i find it easier to get the free water at the bar because you will get a receipt that says 0.00 on it which means it is truly totally free if you use the bottle in the room, the steward may not know about your benefit and will charge you the full price which then requires a trip to guest service to fix the issue

    Norwegian is replacing boardway style shows with more game shows they do in the theater i wont be surprised to see lots of cutbacks with entertainment last week i got off the radiance and i felt the evening entertainment was lacking

    not having laundry room is the new normal for new ships. All new builds like the Excel class ships do not have laundry room. Laundry rooms require lots of maintenance for the ships crew and that is usually where carnival can squeeze in a few additional cabins

    its not really front facing as in looking at the bow but i find deck 7 on port/starboard side has good forward views when near the railing

    if the ship were to sail in the inside passage, it will say so on the itinerary typically usually the inside passenger is for the smaller mid sizes ships like the jewel class ships

    welcome to the new normal. on other ships like the breakaway and escape people also line up about 1 hour or longer before the doors to the venue open to get a spot

    best to leave it as a no show. when ask at the terminal, just say arriving separately. you dont need to do anything else

    i agree. the gold drink benefit is soo much better then the limited brunch platinum drink benefit. why are platinum restricted to where you can get a drink and not gold members?

    i always hate it when the hub app says the wait time is only like 10 minutes and then when i make the reservation the wait time never changes. eventfully after 30-45 minutes i get the alert the table is ready to proceed to the mdr

    the last time i got luggage tags in the mail was back in October 2021. never received any tags for my cruises after that date. i always needed to print them out i am only in a studio or inside cabin

    i have done jet ski excursions in other ports like Bermuda and coco cay (royal island), no one checked drivers licenses and no one needed to go on the a scale for weight from what i noticed over the years the tour descriptions says alot of things that never happens in reality

    i also noticed this. the online checkin in the to do list only appears in 1 out of 4 cruises i have booked. all of the ones where final payment has not been submitted, does not show the check in date in the to do list
