Hold to the mantra that any day on a cruise is better than a day spent at home reading about it on here:) There will still be lots to enjoy while you relax. If the mashed potato is not inspiring you take a look at the vegetarian menu and perhaps order something from there as well to accompany your main course...

That may be Genoa vs Rome, we had a very smooth experience with Divina in Genoa.

Jim already covered almost all of this, the only part that needs to be clear is that the non-alcoholic drinks in general are either included or fully excluded from your package, unlike alcohol where you can pay the difference for something that is above your $10 limit. So as Jim pointed out, sparking water is not included in your package even though it is below the $10 limit.

It was two per person (of legal drinking age) then it switched back to one again, the website has not managed to be consistent at any point in this process...

It always has been a tiny portion, but once you let your Luminae team know how much you want they take care of that for you. I just asked for sufficient to let them put two poached eggs on top and they took care of that for me. The sausage was another matter though, the Luminae kitchen only had the typical US tiny breakfast sausages, they were willing to go fetch the 'British' bangers from the OVC, but I didn't want them doing that every day so I managed without, or just went to OVC for breakfast. Now it seems even those tiny sausages are missing from the menu.

That is a surprise to me as well, I always thought they just prepared it poorly onboard, but I'm happy to see a change, the replacement sounds much better.

I wouldn't expect any changes, it is still a Royal location and will follow Royal policies...

... and the current cruise sailed from Southampton, which makes their absence borderline criminal! 🙂 That, together with the other missing items would be a disappointment for sure. In all sincerity, if I sat down and found that they were unable to provide sausage at breakfast in Luninae I would get up and head for OVC, unless they have been removed shipwide of course, which would be crazy.

I did hear right though that the air conditioning is off if the window is open? It was that part that convinced us that we didn't need to try it to know, as often one of us is on the balcony while the other remains in the cabin...

They have never pulled the comparison page just for a price rise before... This is the problem with all these 'small' changes, it leaves everyone assuming the worst, even if it is only a trial.

The fact the A/C goes off when you open the window killed the idea of even trying it for us.

As long as his game does not involve synchronous interaction with other players he will probably be fine. We had no problems with that sort of game on the basic WiFi.

The quality of the ships resident musicians, as evidenced by the number of times the guest artists have praised them and often even featured them in their acts. This level of quality on Celebrity has been consistent from ship to ship and has always impressed.

They really don't blocking CC, it is as simple as overly aggressive traffic shaping on the basic WiFi, the connection to the site is not blocked, it just doesn't get enough bandwidth to load the pages before things start timing out. It became more noticeable when they rolled out Starlink...

The canapés vanished a few months back, that part isn't new. They were removed from the Aqua descriptions back in January, if not earlier, they lingered on for a few cruises after that but seemed to have been removed fully by around March/April based on other comments.
