  1. I am OFF SHIP & those app screenshots are from the Apple iOS version of the app.
  2. I completely agree…after 5 years it’s still an unreliable app for too many passengers.
  3. Sorry…that was just a screenshot so you’ll need to go to the Apple App Store to download & install the update. Maybe they need to use Celebrity’s developers whose app was trouble free at check-in when adding the required info 45 days prior to boarding.
  4. This is what I see using the Apple version of the app…are you using Android?
  5. I followed Golden’s progress on MarineTraffic & noticed your indirect route from SD to LA.
  6. sbpcl@princesscruises.com In the US and Canada Fax: 661.753.0180 Mail: 24305 Town Center Drive, Suite 200 Santa Clarita, CA 91355 U.S.A. A form that’s not required to use but shows the necessary info you need to provide. In general you can apply as early as you desire & have done it years in advance. 7. You’re welcome…have a great cruise.
  8. Screenshots of the room service menu which can be ordered on in cabin TV or on app. https://profcruise.com/oceannow-delivery-menu-2022/
  9. We easily checked in for our first Celebrity cruise which took about 10 minutes on their app with no issues adding photo, passport, chargecard & to select a boarding time after our TA added our dining request…so easy unlike with the Princess app we’ve used many times. Another nice thing was viewing the daily menus to decide when we’d go to a specialty dinner. Hopefully eventually Princess will provide a reliable app but after 5 years I’m not holding my breath.
  10. In yesterday’s press release Princess described their new culinary holiday menus for Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas & New Years. 11. Yes but there are new restrictions in the Passage Contract for limits & types of containers for non-alcoholic drinks brought onboard. Guests agree not to bring alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages on board for consumption or for any other use except as follows: For Guests of legal drinking age, an allowance of one (1) bottle of wine or champagne (750 mL in volume or less) per Guest per Voyage may be presented to security during embarkation. A US $20.00 corkage fee will be charged should Guests wish to consumer their wine or champagne in the ship’s public areas. A US $20.00 corkage fee (which is subject to change without notice) will apply to each additional bottle (750 mL in volume or less) beyond the one-bottle per Guest per Voyage allowance. Limitations apply, and wine brought in quantities deemed to be excessive by the vessel or security will be refused. Guests are also prohibited from bringing water, sodas and other non-alcoholic beverages on board that are packaged in bottles. A small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, juice, milk) packaged in cans or cartons may be brought on board on embarkation day, only if carried on in Guests’ hand luggage (not in checked luggage). A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12 ounces each or less per person. Guests will be asked to discard open beverages in plastic containers prior to boarding.
  12. If you were eligible for the Loyalty OBC that began at $25 with 21 cruise credits & up to $100 with 50 cruise credits that has been eliminated.
  13. And I believe those are at the beginning of each hundred number series of cabins…100, 200, etc.
  14. 😂 He’s one of my favorite sitcom characters 😂 I only had a 3 high interior bunk bed cabin but had a great unobstructed view while hooking up aircraft to the starboard cat. 😉
  15. Mahalo…I was able to view the video of what does appear to be a C-17 landing at NAS North Island. I spent a couple of days there for flight deck & below deck firefighting training…quite an eye opener about fighting shipboard fires. You should have had a good view of my first cruise ship. ☺️
  16. Winemaker’s Dinner is only available on Royal-class ships in their Wine Cellar located in the midship dining rooms.
  17. From interior to minisuites they have a stainless steel ice bucket…never been in a suite.
  18. Here are photos of Discovery’s minibar::
  19. Read the numbers of viewers which wasn’t good at 2.4 million in the US. Although that was much better than the Australian version of the show…278,000.
  20. In advance I purchase their 12 pack of half liter bottles of water that's delivered to our cabin...$7.08 includes tip. Currently that's more expensive than a share of CCL stock...yikes!
  21. As I recall the most recent Royal-class ships do not have the tea tower adjacent to the International Café.
