  1. Wow what a picture of Michael's club! So much more comfortable looking than the Retreat lounge on Equinox. Will be on RF in April 2024. EQ till then. Hope they don't mess with Michael;s on RF.
  2. Whether those forward decks on 14 and 15 are available to all depends on what ship you are on. Some still have those areas open for all. The E class ships do not. The Solstice, Eclipse and Reflection all have these areas open to all. Deck 15 on Equinox is Retreat only, but deck 14 with the basketball court is still available. The Solarium is adults only and I have never seen it crowded.
  3. Casino is nonsmokng. and drinks are free while you are gambling. No smoking anywhere inside the ship. Very few children on board most cruises. We always get a drink package. Ice cream in the buffet area is very good and no charge. All the sweets displayed at Cafe Al Bacio are no charge whether or not you buy a coffee. You can get specialty coffees at the bar inside the buffet area as well as at Al Bacio. The Aqua Spa Cafe is open for all not just Aqua class passengers. The food there is no charge, but there is a charge for specialty smoothies and such.
  4. This has not been the case on Equinox for the last 3 times we've cruised her in a suite. Service has always been great. I ask for the lobster salad without the roll.
  5. Charla, you do know that the Retreat concierge will book your Future Cruise appointment in the Retreat lounge don't you? No waiting at the Future Cruise desk.
  6. There is usually lobster roll on the first day menu.
  7. ilounge for sure, but may have to pay a minimum. If a CC member, go to the CC desk and ask.
  8. If your wife enjoyed the veggie lasagna, I advise she try the butternut squash and kale lasagna if offered. It is my favorite dish in Luminae; well, other then filet!
  9. We always bring our own corkscrew as well, but, yes cabin steward will get you one. We pick up wine glasses at a bar and bring to room. There is always an ice bucket and various glasses. I believe you can also ask for a corkscrew at a bar.
  10. Please advise your experiences in Luminae. I am concerned about crowding as there are so many more suites on RF than EQ. We never have waited for a table nor not gotten our favorite table by a window on EQ in 4 cruises on her. Service has been great each time. Also please advise how you find Michael's Club now that it is the Retreat lounge. Is there a bar or just servers there? Any entertainment there in the evening? Special presentations during the day? We have RF booked in a suite next Jan.
  11. Nothing for spa or specialty dining in Sky suites. But we like Luminae so much that we no longer do any specialties. If you ask 24 hrs. in advance in Luminae, you can get pretty much anything you wish. If the chef has the ingredients, he will make it. The last few cruises we have advised out waiters that we love Indian food and have been very pleasantly surprised to receive an extra Indian side dish for several meals.
  12. Whether the difference in tip[s is added to your account depends on whether you got the suite as a move up bid or just upgraded. If upgraded, all suite amenities are included, which includes tips.
  13. What "very few bars" are open , please? Only pool bar was open back in Feb. when we were in GC.
  14. Anyone in a suite can get bottles of water and cans of sodas from the Retreat lounge and take back to their suite fridge. I also agree that giving a short list is not rude. I would think it would be helpful.
  15. Craft Social is a bar, no kitchen.
  16. That;s two on the magic carpet side of the ship. Perhaps that is the only area affected?
  17. Yes, that is different. All ships have certain mechanical check ups every 5 years. Plus some other work may be done at that time. Full revolutionizing is a longer process, several weeks.
  18. Is there any good snorkeling near shore at Eden Rock? We were there several years ago and thought we saw some good stuff just near the entry steps there.
  19. Do suites have a dedicated dining room on O, please? If so, what is it like. Do suites get the premium drink package?
  20. No shorts at dinner. No bathing suit, bare feet or coverups any time. Pretty much anything else is OK.
  21. I have seen the "ducking stool" referred to above in the Solariium on Equinox as well.
