Solid post - appreciate it. And as you noted, you had to pay the medical bill thru your on-board account, then seek insurance reimbursement. That happens even if you have purchased the 'insurance' thru Princess / Aon / carrier. A copy of the medical records, Itemized statement of charges, and your final folio showing you paid that amount goes a long way for the insurance reimbursement. been there, done that

Not currently interested in the CB at all out of Canaveral. Will that change is less than a month now? Lots of other choices out of Port Canaveral with newer ships ... P could have a least parked the Royal or Regal there for the inaugural season. May be a one and done deal for P

It is 'cheaper' for Princess to refund as OBC instead of credit card transaction and the associated fee. P is hoping you go ahead and spend the OBC on something, but if not, will process a paper check in about 6 weeks as per recent posters.
