  1. Good save 🙄. Did anyone else take screenshots, just in case they are needed? I won’t pursue this unless I see that other people are succeeding.
  2. I hope they make the department/person who made the error process every one of the cancellations 😂
  3. I expect to see many more “sold out” reports.
  4. The first two reports of “sold out” status are in - Wonder on November 12 and 26. Waiting to see if an avalanche of sold out packages is beginning. Sale of packages being stopped after 24 hours?
  5. Also sold out for the Wonder on November 12.
  6. I meant making financial sense to the cruise line.
  7. I hope you are right! And I hope he will thank those of us who responded by allowing us to keep the packages. I have some doubts about this, but I certainly hope you are right!
  8. Are you parking at the port, so you can just take it back to your vehicle if it isn’t allowed? It does sound like a lot of trouble to me, but we all have different priorities and if it is important to you, I hope it gets through.
  9. This is not exactly what you asked about, but I think it is related. I wanted to book a cruise in advance and convert it to my Prime cruise once it becomes available. I was told that I had to use another casino offer to book the cruise initially, then switch offers to the Prime offer once it becomes available. A booking with no casino offer could not be converted.
  10. I believe the ”per package” notation is an error and “per day” was omitted by the unfortunate employee who set this up. The $89 package has to be an error because it makes no sense financially, and I think that is the most likely explanation of the error.
  11. I think the price is supposed to be per day, not per package. That would be the equivalent of $45 per day per person, compared to $31 +/- for the Key. It sounds like a luxury Key experience to me, minus the (inconvenient) exclusive hours on some activities and the lunches would be spread more evenly throughout the week instead of all Keys on embarkation day.
  12. I use the website, not the app, unless I am checking in or on board and I am forced to.
  13. If nothing else, this has been fun and entertaining on a Saturday afternoon 😂
  14. I have two Celebrity sailings booked (August 2023 and April 2024) but the pass is not available for either. There is a tab for ”packages”, but the only packages available are drinks and dining. Onboard activities list the all-access tour for $116 each.
  15. And immediately after they charged you for the no-show, they probably sold that room for more than they already received.
  16. AARP membership is $12. Chase Freedom and at least one other credit card (CitiCard and/or BOA) have an offer to spend $12 and get an $8 statement credit.
  17. This reminds me of rude behavior I witnessed at the Aqua show on one of the Oasis class ships several years ago. An older couple were seated at the end the end of one of the benches, with a minimal amount of space to their right. A woman squeezed into that space and the couple moved closer together. After a few minutes, an older woman handed a baby to the seated woman. A few minutes after that, she brought over a 3 or 4-year old child and the first woman sat the child next to her. The older couple squeezed even closer together. Finally, the older woman picked up the child, sat in the small space he had occupied, and held him. By the end of the show, the older child was seated between the two women and the older couple were just about falling off the end of the bench, looking miserably uncomfortable.
  18. Many years ago, when I still ate at McDonald’s, I would order something unusual to make sure it was made fresh. I usually ordered a “cheeseburger with only ketchup”. I paid the cheeseburger price and received a cheeseburger wrapper containing a bun, meat, and ketchup. No cheese, because I ordered it with only ketchup. 🙄.
  19. If someone with the Key cancels, it is possible those key spots will return to inventory and be available for booking. Keep checking.
  20. That is the bill from Park ‘n Cruise - $10.95 a day plus $6 port entry fee plus tax. We hate driving in the ports, so we are happy to stop at the off-site parking lot two miles before we would get to the port. Lifting the luggage is a problem for us; they remove it from the car and lift it back in when we return. Nice shuttles, nice drivers, and organization at the port when returning from our cruises. And every sixth stay is free; they encourage saving a free stay for a longer cruise and not wasting it on a short cruise.
  21. I am happy to hear that Miami charges for only the nights parked and doesn’t have a separate tax charge - thank you!
  22. Port Canaveral charges $17 per day for both the day of arrival and the day of departure. So does an off-site parking lot at that port (Park ‘n Cruise). We will arrive on April 16 for a six-night cruise, leaving in the 22nd, and will be charged for seven days. So they are collecting a daily parking fee for both the vehicle that is picked up at 8 a.m. and the one that is dropped off at 10 a.m. I don’t think all ports do that.
  23. How many days were you charged for? Some places (Port Canaveral) charge for the day you pick up your vehicle, creating double income for themselves on debarkation/embarkation days. Does Miami do that? Will we be charged for 4 days or 5 days for our four night cruise?
