Title is a little odd but thanks to a 1030 am boarding, and a spreadsheet, my husband and I were able to book all entertainment and restaurants this week for our UDP on the Allure. So if you don't have a concierge to help, it is possible to get what you want. I will add we do have the Key and I did set my alarm at 1201 am to ensure I had a good check in time. I also researched on the app the times of the shows and restaurants to make my spreadsheet. We kept clicking away in our chairs and while waiting for our Key lunch. I have seen a few posts especially since the ships are pretty much full recently about how and when to reserve shows and restaurants We were not able to start reserving until 11am. And we were connected to the voom wifi. No airplane mode. Internet speed is 3.8 Mbps. We are still in ft. Lauderdale. We don't think we are hooked to starlink yet.

I cancelled my bids on my Allure cruise Saturday as I'm in a spacious OV balcony already, have the key, have UDP, diamond status so get their lounge, no suite points and don't care about coastal kitchen. It would have been $1010 extra for a JS alone. All suites have been sold out for months so i couldn't compare prices. I think I should be ok without an upgrade. Just couldn't justify it this time.

I'm currently in Disney where you really have to have your phone as you need the app to buy tickets then reserve a park. I was in line at Shades of green the other day for 45 minutes watching 3 people trying to download an app on one phone. They didn't believe in phones on vacation. I need my phone on upcoming Allure trip to whatsapp Hayhu beach club in Costa Maya for ride pickup. I had to purchase NASA tickets on my phone last night because I got an alert on my phone at Disney Springs there was a launch today. There is no way I could be this detailed without a phone. I get everyone is different and people don't like to carry them. I am happy that I do because I know I would miss out on a lot if I left my phone home on vacation as active as we are.

I think they are starting to come back (pier runners). I don't know when you sailed but once a lot of the countries and restrictions changed (only ship excursions, approved taxis (Grenada in December))...etc.. I tended to see more. I didn't see any last November off of Adventure but I'm usually at the gym at sailaway. I did see a few in Bermuda in September.

I'd be happy to report back. I'll be there on the 26th. I'm not exactly a fan of Maya Chan ocean reports although have never been there so I wanted to try this place.

She is the best. If I didn't want to try Hayhu on the 26th, we were heading back. I told her she's famous and she was just thrilled.

yes it can happen. Make sure if onboard to get on a waiting list. We have done this 1x in Alaska in May and 1x for Explore St. John on your own back when it was 6 hours and cheaper or close in price than doing the taxi/red hook ferry.

I wear my hiking boots on every trip I go on as we always are off on a hike somewhere and they are too big for luggage. I have TSA precheck and never have taken them off except for 2 international flights to Europe.
