  1. @steve1191 and @doowopbob it looks like a "CC crowd" is forming in deck 8!
  2. We are on starboard side. Look for a short short haired redhead. That’s me. Beth
  3. Yes, @UUNetBill Let’s be mariners and navigate the world on our next voyage!
  4. @happycruisingUK and carolina cruisin, I’ll be boarding Splendor on Sept. 5 and on deck 8 forward. Really looking forward to my first voyage on Splendor and exploring her.
  5. @Wendy the Wanderer, I believe I did see a NA portion of one cruise wine list I’ve seen this year.
  6. @wishIweretravelling When I spoke with Jason yesterday about our Luggage Forward shipment, he did mention to me, “no perfume.”
  7. Thanks, @DaveFr As I will be on Splendor next month, your list will come in handy. The lists do change from cruise to cruise, due to the supply change. Beth
  8. Go to your itinerary on the Regent website not My Account. Click on a port. A list of excursions for that day should pop up in a new window. Scroll down a little until you see Download All. A pdf file will open and you should be able to save it to your device. Do this for each port or contact your TA for a list of all the excursions for your cruise. Once you begin booking your excursions on August 12 in My Account, you will see the times they are offered. Good luck!
  9. Hello @showingdiva Thank you for and the great tips and the warm welcome to Edinburgh. I will be arriving in your fare city next month on Sept. 19th on Splendor. Can't wait to return to your lovely city.
  10. I, too, recommend taking a short 7 or less nights on the ship used for the World Cruise. Especially note how solo cruisers are treated and what activities are offered for solo travelers. Ask questions and get involved in those activities. It may work for you.
  11. Thanks, everyone, on the up-to-date news on the Regent phone app.
  12. Here is a sample wine menu from Chartreuse. It's easy to find on the Regent website.
  13. @mdunne48 I am pretty sure the black mussels are only offered on the Compass Rose dinner menu on embarkation night. So you can eat them while they are fresh. They are marvelous. Beth
  14. Unfortunately, Parrmuit seems to be one of those ports that is often missed. Being a tender port also doesn’t help its chances either. We weren’t able to stop there on our 2018 Navigator cruise. Hopefully you will be able to dock in Nuuk.
  15. Daren, Will you and Johnetta be making videos on this cruise? Beth
  16. Yes, Bill, Explorer & Splendor started having the office but I am pretty sure that I saw a desk on Mariner in May. Can't remember seeing a desk on my March Navigator cruise and don't know about Voyager. Hopefully someone can add on about those ships.
  17. Now you will find a Dining Reservations Desk on the ships to make addition reservations once onboard. Look for hours and locations in the daily Passage.
  18. It sounds like the yellow bus was run by the port for passengers to safely navigate the port area. These buses usually have nothing to do with the cruise ships and run on their own schedules. It does sound unfortunate that everyone had to stand in the rain. Plus HOHO buses have to stay on their time tables, as well. Yes, Destination Services should have contacted the Port Authorities to get an idea of the particulars on navigating the port area for those who wish to go out on their own. Glad to hear that you had a good rest of your day and enjoyed a lovely meal.
  19. I haven't been on a Regent cruise where this is happening yet. If you read the different threads here and posts on the Facebook RSSC Social Club, you will read that speciality restaurants are closing down some nights. It is a staffing issue due to Covid.
  20. @labonnevie, I was simply letting irishwitchy know the pace that Regent music changes. There were many, many years of 40s music I had to endure……….
