  1. We always watch the Sette Mari menu for Eggplant Parmesan. They don’t serve it every night and it is delicious.
  2. Hi @as3369 I so hope you enjoy your first Regent cruise. I still remember my first cruise on the 180 passenger Seven Seas Song of Flower 31 years ago. (Regent wasn’t even thought of then.) Your dining plans sound great. I would suggest you check the daily dinner menus on your en-suite TV. Some dishes are only offered once a cruise but remember with 24 hour notice you can get your favorites dinner. See the Compass Rose dining room manager and request a few of your favorites throughout the cruise towards the end of your journey. Do have a wonderful cruise and report back to us when you get back home.
  3. My favorite restaurant is usually the one I’m in. All the Regent restaurants are great. So much good food to enjoy!
  4. The classes usually run for about two hours. You are asked to get to the Culinary Arts Kitchen ten minutes til 4:00.
  5. Read your daily Passages newsletter. It is packed full of information. It lists your port that day with temperature and weather conditions to help you dress and pack your day bag. Passages has: information on excursions-with meeting times and locations, events around the ship, restaurants and bars with opening and closing times (including the special Lunch pool grill menu), boutique and spa specials, evening events, daily fitness class schedule, officer/staff/production staff bios, and lots of other information. Many days, I’ll take a photo of the cover to tell where the next photos were taken.
  6. If you like Gary's videos, you may be interested in being a part of his Saturday or Sunday LIVE shows. There is a great community of cruisers who meet there to watch and share cruise advise behind the scenes. I have actually cruised with three people I "met" on his live shows. When I first started watching last year, we were a small part of the crowd, now the Regent community there is growing.
  7. Usually if you put your laundry bag outside your door by 9am, you will have your laundry back before bedtime.
  8. Gary Bembridge’s Tips For Travelers reviews always seem in-depth and fair. Glad to hear that Gary enjoyed Navigator and plans further Regent cruises. FYI, he is very open that he pays for his own cruises so he can give his true opinions.
  9. @Yankeeclipper1I am one of the lucky ones on this May 5th cruise, too. As we have an overnight in Hamilton, I am hoping we have a “Dinner Under the Stars” evening up on the pool deck. What a way to celebrate our last warm night before heading to Canada.
  10. Always a good day when the cruise docs arrive. Time for the Doc Dance!💃
  11. It must have been fun to be a part of Taiwanese history. Love the stamp.
  12. There are plenty of those to read already! No need to start a new thread. 😆
  13. We call them “the eyeballs.” Looking forward to trying the fudge.
  14. @flossie009. So happy it turned into a wonderful experience. @Mudhen My addition is Limoncello!!🧋
  15. The first episode was on YouTube. Right now I can’t find it. No episodes after that. When we were on Splendor in the fall, one of the production staff mentioned that it would be on Tubi but it hasn’t shown up yet.
  16. @DaisyUKIt is normal not to have excursions on turnover day. If there is a large group of you on the ship doing a B2B along with you, the ship may offer 1-2 excursions. I would suggest going to Destinations Services when you board and ask them if excursions will be available. If none are offered, make your own plans or catch a Hop On Hop Off bus. Sydney is an exciting city with lots to offer. Enjoy. Don’t forget to get your new room key before leaving the ship that day. The executive concierge can help you with that. Contact them a few days before the end of your first segment. They will contact Housekeeping to assist with crew to move your belongings to your new suite.
  17. On an Antarctic cruise, I sent a postcard to myself from South Georgia. I received it four months from the day I mailed it.
  18. Hi @Nachosdelux My last cruise on Navigator was March 2022 and have another planned for May. With over 200 nights on the ship, she is a lovely, intimate way to cruise. Because of her size, you will get to know know more passengers and staff/crew. Yes, she has vibration. (Like @mrlevinsays, don’t book the aft suites.) Yes, she has less restaurants. Yes, she doesn’t have a forward Observation Lounge. Navigator has a special feel about her. The staff and crew are just as wonderful as on the other Regent ships, as they try to make your experience the best you can have. As she is small, it won’t take you any time to get from one location to the next. @Spud1 Friends and I will be joining you on the May cruise. Looking forward to being back on Navigator. Beth
  19. Yes, @RachelG I agree. Get your tickets before you come.
  20. I think you can get reservations for Sagrada Familia two months from visit date. We purchased guided tickets. Our guide was excellent.
  21. I would suggest hiring a guide/driver to take you around the city (with your luggage) to see the city then drop you off at the ship. If not get on the HopOn HopOff bus . Have the hotel hold your luggage then get a taxi to the ship.
  22. @red1head Thanks for your warning. It is extremely sad to hear what happened to your friends and that they weren’t able to complete their trip/cruise.
  23. The drama actually wasn't manufactured. We were on Splendor and the Christmas decorations were late getting to the ship. They were supposed to arrived in Barcelona on Nov. 19 but the container didn't show up. The filming crew arrived in San Juan to video the decorations going up all around the ship. That didn't happen. As we disembarked on Dec. 3, we don't know how/when the decorations arrived.
