Thanks Greg. I am terrible at selling things. At this point, around $3000 would be acceptable, even if that was the value from (1998) 25 years ago. The software had plans to update, but they went out of business. I look at so many things that we don't want to have to move with. I might keep the file cabinet, though. ☺️

I have lived in this same house since I was 12. I am 65 now. It has been interesting to see what we have come across, but it has been slowing down the process. Some things, have value, because I was very careful with my toys. I remember my mom holding on to her LIFE magazines. While I really wanted to hold on to my comic books, from the early 60's and early 70's. In 1998, a software program came out that allowed me to inventory them, and I bagged, informally graded, and put them on acid free boards. And stored them in a file cabinet. They were worth about (there are about 691 of them) $3000 then. I am curious if I can find a comic store buyer or send them to an auction house (more work) to see what they are worth now. ☺️ Sorry, off topic sort of, but it has been on my mind, as we prepare for a major move.

I love these overly dramatic headlines. LOL. This would be a warning for the other house, not the one in the Bay Area. We will watch it on the cameras, and maybe post photos! In other news, I packed an extra-large U-Haul box today. And realized that I should have purchased more medium and large boxes. The extra-large are way too heavy, even for movers. I have never actually packed a house to move before. 🙄 Pretty much mom's has just been trash, donate, donate. "Crippling Blizzard' For Sierra As 10 Feet Of Snow Forecast" 🙄

Looking for tips for Oddysey of the Seas
Coralc replied to cpl100's topic in Royal Caribbean International
@harryfat1 Is presently doing a review. (an excellent one, BTW). It might have some tips for your sailing, especially about 270. Link: -
Everyone keeps saying that about Freewinds. 🙄 On a Southern Caribbean, the ship was in 3 different ports with us. The cadets were doing lifeboat rowing things, calisthenics on deck and some sort of drills on the pier. They all were wearing blue coveralls. It does sail and move. I don't know how frequently, but it is a seaworthy and functioning ship. Just because you all see it docked, doesn't mean it doesn't go out on cruises.

How was the baked potato? It is always so difficult to get a good baked potato at dining establishments. Oh! Have you run into the other NY school district teacher who has a similar avatar to yours? And I am curious about the duct tape avatars. ☺️What is that about? If you wouldn't mind. I do like it better than your "Wicked" one. We are very much enjoying your live review. Thanks for taking the time out of your vacation to do it. Mine would be so boring. Every day would be, read book on pool deck. 😄

Sidenote: Albuterol inhalers are 3/$25.00 in Cozumel. ☺️

Reading this again. Even if the husband had been medevaced from the ship, he still would have been taken to...Cozumel.

And then please let us know if you were successful! TIA. 😊

Live and Solo: B2B on Oasis Feb 4 - 18, a Running report

Very enjoyable cruise report! Thanks for taking the time. Good Luck in the race! 😊 New Orleans is a very fun city! But I think it is probably more fun to have a friend go with you to encourage more exploration. I find that when I am by myself, I tend not to be as adventurous about exploring places. Not because I am nervous, I just lack motivation. 😁 -

Sorry. I don't think we have ever done much of anything in those ports except shop and go to the bars. Ensenada used to have the Titanic movie lot with the huge water tank where they did the filming. I always thought it sounded interesting, but we never went. And now it is abandoned. Lately, the winery tours in Ensenada have become more popular, and there is always La Bufadora, the blowhole. You can pick up a blowhole excursion in town, no need to book through the ship. PV has some nice shops down on the main street across from the beach. And a Sam's Club! 😃 We picked up a lovely hand-blown clear glass iguana one year (at one of the shops). Cabo, we just take the tender and have lunch and usually just walk around the marina or into town a little. It is usually pretty warm in October.
