I will be cruising in January, 2024.
I did not receive this e-mail, I would not take advantage of this offer anyway, but, interested to read the entire e-mail, if anyone still has it.
I was just informed that X is having a flash sale on beverages packages.
I immediately called X and gave my reservation number and right away customer service representative knew why I had called and made the necessary adjustments right away.
I had no "All Included Perks" so I paid for my package and by inquiring about flash sale I saved $210.00, 51% off.
Not sure when sale will end, I am on the Constellation in January, 2024, Good Luck !
I just made final payment in my upcoming cruise.
I received a message about "Move Up",
We have never moved up but I was curious so I took a look.
So, I see there is an Ultra Deluxe Concierge and Ultra Deluxe Veranda cabins ?
My question is what's the difference between Regular and Deluxe ?
Description does not go into detail.
Thanx !
First, I must say that we always pay our gratuities up front.
I saw a post on another forum that asked if cabin attendant/wait staff know who has pre-paid their gratuities.
This question may have been and answered previously but I could not find it.
Just curious.
We have been on many X cruises and have seen numerous individuals intoxicated to the point of not being in control of themselves, especially at the Martini Bar.
I have never seen anyone cut off even though the person was visibly intoxicated.
Yes, you definitely can !
We travel with a party of 4 and we usually order a couple of sides and an entree along with our meal to share with the table.
I have seen many people turned away because of their dress, you can take your chance wearing shorts and flip flops.
I would love to be there when you are denied seating.
Lol, all this drama over dress codes.
It's a no brainer, follow rules and regulations and you will never go wrong.
Do what you want and face the consequences.
I was told by a friend that the menu for the upcoming Equinox cruise was on the app.
Not really exciting and much different than we have had on past X cruises.
My experience is that what ever you see online is usually different on the cruise, slightly.
I hope so, the menu I saw on the app was not great, no lobster, no beef Wellington, unless you pay extra.
We did the same type of "guarantee" veranda, on the Equinox, hoping for the best, didnt really care, just wanted to cruise.
Paid the next day.
The following day we were surprised with our cabin assignment !
Deck 10, Concierge, mid-ship !
We have cruised out of Port Everglades a few times and have question for the forum about tipping the porters, embarkation/debarkation.
We always tip because we have several pieces of large heavy bags.
I know tipping is a personal choice.
The last time we cruised out of Port Everglades a couple years ago we overheard something very disturbing.
A gentleman unloading bags with the porter refused to tip him and the porter said "good luck getting your bags".
My question is do you have to tip porters ?
I understand the porters are salaried employees of the port ?
Can they really disrupt your baggage ?
We just got our guaranteed veranda cabin assignment for the Equinox yesterday and were worried where we would be located.
We actually got an upgarde to Concierge a few cabins from center elevator banks.
Good Luck !
