  1. Parking fees at the stadium will also make people stop complaining about parking at the port as well my season-ticket parking passes for this year were, I believe $175 per game (and you were not allowed to opt out of preseason)
  2. I believe that is called profiling; and is frowned upon
  3. Why pre pay for OBC? That makes no sense; just pay the bill at the end of the week and keep your money in your pocket as long as possible.
  4. 5 drinks in a day is far from “copious consumption”; for many on vacation that is called “pre lunch”
  5. Vouchers cover anything up to $14, the only way your friend would have to pay anything out of pocket for a frozen drink is if they got a "souvenir take home" cup.
  6. Happy wife.....Happy life My wife has the same tolerance as do I: I imagine that's why were are still together after all these years
  7. I absolutely agree, one must remain in their comfort zone. That’s why I said, this is just for me and my take. Have had a lot of experience in medical practice dealing with irate, aggressive, even dangerous patients and families in the ER and other areas of the system (I do some Locum Tenens at the prison as well). My comfort level and patience with nonsense is different than some.
  8. Tips. I agree with you I have never been pestered about Tips, however, the constant nonstop barrage of the guest satisfaction survey, and pandering for a perfect 10 has become very very tiresome as of late.
  9. It’s not hard; that’s a cop out. it’s black and white, right and wrong. What is so wise about refusing to confront the issue yourself? if more of these inconsiderate people were confronted, then perhaps they would think twice about pulling a stunt like that again. Again, this is just me, but I never ever back down from a situation like this; if nothing else, it forces management to address the issue.
  10. But considering the failure of management to do this upon the 1st request; I sure wouldn’t have left dinner. That’s just me, I have no problem standing up for myself.
  11. Why didn’t they have the chutzpah to handle it themselves?
  12. US state department publishes the statistics annually. The most recent report places the percentage of Americans with a passport at 37%
  13. Things are revamped all the time, that doesn't mean it isn't working; i means that they need to keep things fresh for "the regulars" I can't think of a single loyalty program that I am a part of that garners 100% blind loyalty from me, I do not believe that is a legitimate purpose of a loyalty program. For me the program is a little reward for me when I return, but won't keep me from cruising another line, or flying another airline, or staying at a different hotel brand on occasion. Don't feel you are being "destroyed"; that's a terrible feeling to experience anytime let alone during the holidays. Nothing more here than a spirited discussion amongst mostly complete strangers. Cruise, live life to the fullest, enjoy your time wherever it may be, and never hold back on your opinion. Merry Christmas
  14. IF (big if) this happened it was wrong and shouldn’t have happened; unless your sister and her boyfriend share the same address.
  15. Unfortunately, there’s nothing you can do about geography
  16. Sounds like crew tugging at your heart strings for extra tips. This story is patently false
  17. Royal never released a statement, nor posted on their website, that Diamond C&A members would be excluded from the Diamond lounge. This is what this thread is about; not Royal Up bids
  18. Refreshment package and our D+ vouchers have been our go to plan since the inception of the voucher system; it works great for us.
  19. You always had to have a reservation, they have to know how many to expect
  20. I guess it depends on what times you drink; the last day availability of vouchers was never consistent from ship to ship
