  1. When ships are sailing 95% full you are not going to see and last minute deals. There is no incentive to the line
  2. For martinis on the Grand the last 3 weeks they have been using 3 of the smaller jiggers. Fills the glass to the brim
  3. Again research is the key to any traveling. I would not rely on information from a call center employee who is usually off shore
  4. Please remember that any tender from the ship you have to get oneself physically to the tender from a very possibly bouncing ship
  5. I don’t really get the complaint about the fact that the OP said their forward suite was at the opposite end of the ship from the suite concierge. One look at a deck plan would have shown where the 2 locations were. Also there had been numerous threads in casual dining areas on the Enchanted on these boards same with the change of Churchills to an arcade and is also shown on deck plans. A little more research could have prevented some disappointments. Bout glad you enjoyed the Princess product
  6. You can always call and request a new one. However no one here can give you names of CVP’s that they like to work with. It is not in the rules of the board
  7. That must have been a long time ago since the cards have been gone for a long time
  8. We miss long lines by boarding later in the day. We cruise 8-10 weeks a year and have lots of times to eat in the MDR but always board late to avoid lines and waits
  9. Also there are almost always people still on board from b2b cruises. The events on the app have nothing to do with boarding times
  10. Just a note if you have b2b cruises with 2 booking numbers only the 1st shows up on the app when you sail
  11. There are no sensor lights in our aft suite. We are traveling on her in January again great crew. There is a dry dock scheduled for April so we will see if they get added. We are on the first cruise after so we will see
  12. When you say boarding time is that when the window opens ? What is the exact window ? Usually I don’t see that on the app until the boarding passes come out
  13. We have on the Discovery and Royal in aft suites but not in Emerald Deck. On Dolphin and Riviera decks the balconies were huge, partially covered and wrap around. We sail aft on every cruise and these were some of the best ever. You will not be disappointed
  14. Easy if you are on an Uber Just get dropped off at the Pan Pacific then go inside to the Convention Center elevators snd go down to the CS level to drop off luggage
  15. Sean Island is not that far from either side of the river
  16. We will try to see if we see any crew in town and see if any major changes are coming. So far it looks like mechanical and carpeting plus a spruce up
  17. Hoping they don’t add the on her April dry dock. We do however have USB’s on the bedside tables which is great
  18. Love being able to sail out of the West Coast. The Grand will be dry docked in Portland just before the May cruise
  19. We are currently in a Penthouse suite on the Grand. No motion lights at all. Heaven. We have 2 more cruises on her in the next 9 months
  20. They match the color of the old elite cruise cards which were black. We still refer to newbies as “blue cards”
  21. We find the prices at Miku very reasonable for high end sushi. Lunch for 2 with 2 wines or beers each under $100 USD total
  22. On Grand now all Reserve dining is in Da Vinci. Regular folks breakfast and lunch in Botticelli
