  1. We visited here on Saturday. We pre booked for 10.30am but due to some change of plans at home we arrived at 9.30 and asked if we could enter early. There was quite a queue as it was the first time slot of the day but the nice lady said come back at 10am and you'll be fine, which we did. I think you’ll find they are pretty flexible if they can be. They like to stagger the entry to prevent bottle necks. You start with war rooms using the included audio guide. Once you get to the museum part you can wander around in any direction and then you continue through the rest of the war rooms. Cafe is about 3/4 of the way around. We stopped there just after 2 1/4 hours in. After tea and cake we had to rush the last 1/4 as we had to get our train. I think without the rush to get home our total time there including tea and cake would have been 3 hours.
  2. Yes the tender and ferries go from the same area. It takes approx. 10 minutes once you on tender. T for tender F for Ferry. If you haven’t pre purchased and you need to purchase ferry ticket on the day ,you can do so at the kiosk marked red circle.
  3. Midway through the cruise you will receive information re transfers to airport or Tronchetto plus other alternatives and you can use obc to pay for this. You can also arrange private transfer with many of the online car services.
  4. Same here, I was unable to purchase from Matthew on Quest in October. We’ve used these numerous times in the past but apparently we were in the minority 🤷🏼‍♀️ . I’ll be miffed if we missed out and they still available .
  5. This was last year. It’s unlikely to be any cheaper!
  6. Something going on for sure ! The four cruises on Quest after yours are all showing as ‘Pricing Unvailable’ . Obviously a massive change of ports coming up.
  7. What ship was sailing on 14th September? It looks like all four ships are in and around the Mediterranean in September 2025. . Not quite sure how this cruise cancellation is connected to a Canada and New England Itinerary?
  8. Ok this is my last post on this particular subject, having tried at least to let people know that there may be availability to book tables throughout the cruise. This was our first Continental Suite and as is widely publicised, the Speciality dining is complementary for the cabin for the whole cruise. We had every intention of attending each evening, however a few excellent evening menus caught our attention in Discoveries and we cancelled and someone else picked up our table. We never set out to book ‘just in case’. When and if Azamara change the parameters we will deal with it .
  9. Because the Discoveries Menus were not available on the TV screen prior to booking the Speciality and the Patio evening we changed to was weather dependent . My initial comment was to highlight that people change plans for whatever reason so there may be choices of dates and times that become available during the cruise.
  10. There is often a lot of movement with the bookings and you can sometimes pick up a booking on the day. Last year on our 11 nighter in a Continental Suite we booked all 11 nights on embarkation, alternating between the two Speciality restaurants. By the time we left, we had cancelled 5 of those ( giving plenty of notice) and dined in a selection of Discoveries, Windows and Patio. We enjoyed the mixing of the other venues as the two Speciality restaurants can get a little repetitive.
  11. There were several in 2022 and we did a great 11 nighter round trip from Las Palmas back in January 22 but in 2024 and 2025 the ships will have travelled from South Africa and they wont be doing a Canaries round trip, just visiting a few islands en route to Lisbon.
  12. If you search on the Azamara website for March 2024 and 2025 you will see one each year, both starting in las Palmas and ending in Lisbon.
  13. Look for this line across the dividing wall. We’ve had a connecting cabin before and it’s never been a problem.
  14. It will often depend where you are embarking. This was ours for Chioggia (Venice ) in October. These details were in our Guest Ticket Booklet that we received 3 weeks before the cruise date.
  15. https://www.azamara.com/gb/booked-guests/before-you-board/online-checkin This is the latest information re boarding, all available on the web site. In the next 11 months it could easily change so check back nearer your sail date.

  18. We embarked at Monaco in April . Dropped our bags which were tagged for cabins and we were then directed through the buildings to the ship. Check in was carried out in Cabaret Lounge. We were not allowed off after this. 😢 so if you thinking of dropping bags and wandering you’ll need to buck the system, which may or may not be possible. The port area was not very pedestrian friendly where we checked in , we only saw taxis drop people off.
  19. Excellent idea. We have used this scenario in the past on Celebrity , with us in a Veranda and our son across the hall in an inside. Worked really well, he had his own space when needed but used our balcony! The difference in price between Veranda and Inside may not be so much compared to 3 in Continental Suite, with more room for everyone.
  20. As has almost everywhere sadly . I can’t remember anything less than $19.95 for full voyage daily rate for many years. Others with better memories could chime in?
  21. Website details seem to have not been updated, not sure when they changed but these were the prices two weeks ago. A one day pass used to be $29.95 but is now $36.54.

    New website.

I used my last open cruise voucher for this last cruise and was disappointed to hear on board via the Future Cruise Sales Person, that they no longer do them. 😢 poor decision in my mind. Apparently not many of us chose this option. I registered my disappointment on my end of cruise survey.
  24. Im sure they are agreed or not on a case by case scenario. If they had said no that would of been fine also, but someone who could make that decision said yes for us and we were happy. It was certainly not a decision to be made by state room attendant. We never saw the person who opened them.
  25. In our experience….Yes they can be. We had two adjoining balcony staterooms on Quest in July. We asked if the balcony dividers could be opened. This was allowed and they were opened not by the stateroom attendant but a security guy. They were opened after we docked (usually whilst we were at breakfast ) and closed before sail-away (usually whilst we were at evening meal) . They were not allowed to be open at all on the sea day.
