  1. Sorry for the confusion. The "we" was collective for the participants in the tasting. I bought it for me as my wife does not drink alcohol neat, except sake. She was not even at the event. As @LGW59said, there is no sharing. If your spouse/significant other wants to participate, they need to purchase their own tasting.
  2. We took a ship sponsored tour to Tulum and it was a very long tour. the whole group was making a mad dash to get back to the ship on time.
  3. We had a new glass for each pour for our tasting. Then again the crewmember hosting the event was our favorite waiter/bartender from the Ensemble lounge. He was a waiter on our cruise as he was headed home at the end of the cruise.
  4. Maki is the roll, nigiri is the piece of fish/egg/eel on top of the rice. I have not had the ramen or udon so cannot comment. All I can say is that my wife and I found the serving sizes appropriate on Quantum.
  5. Well, I do not know whether or not the "in a space reserved just for them" really applies any longer. the more I read comments here on Cruise Critic the more I am seeing about people who are not in the top three tiers of C&A being allowed/escorted into the Diamond Lounge.
  6. It should not be hard. I mean the state's license plates even say "Virginia is for lovers." This could be taken many ways.
  7. Just remember the motto from the Gadsden Flag before you start in on Virginia 🙂
  8. What ship was this on? Which sushi order (maki or nigiri)?
  9. That is a win in my book. I prefer Pete's over $tarbuck$ anyway.
  10. It means you have run out and need to buy more.
  11. I did the Macallan flight on Silhouette last April. It was held in Cellar Masters. we were given a shot of four different varieties of Macallan. The host went through the process of how Macallan produced their whisky. He also went over the tasting notes for each one.
  12. This thread is only two pages and 30 post. The link was provided in post #24.
  13. If they ever switch to Pepsi I'll cruise at least twice as often. One of the main reasons I go ashore in ports that we've visited multiple times is to score some Diet Pepsi or Diet Mt. Dew.
  14. It's based on the category of room you book And the tiers are Notice the huge gap between Elite Plus and Zenith. Seems similar to Diamond Plus to Pinnacle.
  15. No. You should not even go to the International Cafe -- especially since it has nothing to do with Royal Caribbean. You may want to try asking on the appropriate cruise line's board.
  16. I just booked us a 6:30 PM reservation in the Tuscan Grill for Night 5 of our November 2023 sailing on Millennium.
  17. Here is what Celebrity's web site says: " Refresh with premium bottled water from Evian, Perrier, San Pellegrino, & Panna, Specialty Coffees & Organic Teas, Red Bull Energy Drink, Frozen Smoothies, Zero Proof Cocktails, Coca-Cola selections, offerings from Vitamin Water, and Bottled Iced Teas." (bolding is mine)
  18. I agree with others -- passport and electronic copy of set sail pass will do just fine. However, I always bring a paper copy of our set sail passes as I believe in redundancy. I have seen others struggling to get access to documentation on their phone and like the comfort of having a backup JUST IN CASE.
  19. I need to go buy some lottery tickets. Those B2B2B sound amazing, especially the one in Asia.
  20. Watched the webinar this morning and no buffering at all. It helps to have reliable internet.
  21. That is very old. All suites get the Retreat Lounge/Michael's Club access as well as the Retreat Sundeck and dining in Luminae.
  22. Looking at pictures I have found of these four suites it appears that the balconies are smaller than other Grand Suite balconies. The photo's I have seen show the loungers turned sideways instead of facing the ocean and that the standard chairs appear to have very little leg room when facing toward the ocean. Can anyone confirm whether or not the balcony on these four cabins can be used for dining or if they are just too small?
  23. The “Zero Proof Package”: According to the description, Zero Proo Package includes: “ Refresh with premium bottled water from Evian, Perrier, San Pellegrino, & Panna. Specialty Coffees & Organic Teas, Red Bull Energy Drink, Frozen Smoothies, Zero Proof Cocktails, Coca-Cola selections, offerings from Vitamin Water, Aqua Spa Fresh Juice, and Bottled Iced Teas.”
