  1. I agree with Patty and it is not not conjecture nor opinion as some of us know for sure. This was all recognized as part of the plans. And I am sure someone will ask how do I know. So it goes. Keith
  2. This makes perfect sense as does Vince's post. I know in previous cases where we received money back it did come back via check and excellent point about those outside the country where a wire transfer might be something that is done. Keith
  3. I can't speak to "more" but do know that Crystal has been doing quite a bit with the major travel consortium's, not only before the first sailings of each ship but also as we speak. Keith
  4. David, she hasn't make this but does make some great desserts. 😀 Keith
  5. You are very welcome. I also like hard copy brochures. At the present time there are no hard copy brochures that I am aware of but I had heard that there will be a new one that is hard copy. Maybe it will be 2025. Keith
  6. Palm Court on Symphony has never been very popular. One reason was its original design. The other was after Starlight was opened up and it really has become the all purpose lounge. The other issue is at night as we learned from one of the people involved with Serenity and Symphony up until around five years ago at night it is not popular real estate. In other words, people dine and don't want to go all the way up for a visit to Palm Court. Serenity utilizes the Palm Court much more than Symphony but the reason is Serenity does not have a lounge like Starlight. Yes they do have Stardust but it is different in terms of location and that it is not welcoming. Keith
  7. The number of e-brochures on the Crystal website has expanded including a Worldwide 2024 e-brochure. https://www.crystalcruises.com/brochures Keith

  9. Ivi, not worried for the reasons I have mentioned including when itineraries came out the new ownership knew that many people already had cruises booked on other lines and the focus was initially mainly on Crystal Society guests. This is expanding quite q bit and 2024 and beyond are key. In addition, it is important to win back the trust of agents, agencies and consortiums and this is occurring. Just takes time. Keith
  10. A reminder that when Crystal came out with the itineraries many people (and several we know) had bookings on other cruise lines and they didn't want to change them having in some cases bought tickets for flights and didn't want to pay administrative fees. At the same time, the focus was on Crystal Society Members. I also agree there are many products to choose from. This is a work in progress in terms of the start up and next year will be key. Keith
  11. Cruisemonty, at this time I have not heard of the 60-day time frame changing. To find out if the ship is docking or itinerary go to the Crystal website and find your itinerary under the cruise calendar. It will show ports where ship is anchored and in all other ports the vessel will be docked. Keith
  12. If you call them they will advise that it is coming soon. I suspect this month but as someone say time will tell or maybe the check is in the mail. Keith
  13. About five years ago in Spain. Good price back then for pastries which is one of the reasons they get lots of tourists from other areas spending time in Spain. Keith
  14. Adrian, thank you for sharing your review of Symphony. I look forward to hearing what you think of Serenity. Best to you. Keth
  15. It bothered Anne Marie as well. Keith
  16. You'll be able to reserved the group VR while on board. As mentioned, you can see the Head Sommelier after you board to find out date(s) for dinner/lunch.
  17. Hi again. My wife and I did private Vintage Room with NC and it was exactly as it was before. Several friends have also done the group vintage room lunches and dinners and they too are the way it was before with OC. Keith
  18. Four years ago while on Serenity in the Mediterranean. For some a bit difficult to walk. Keith
  19. As to the corkage fee, Well this is an interesting one; corkage fee. There actually had been one but sometimes charged and other times not but as of the other day it was no longer in place so no corkage fee. Keith
  20. Kate, they show up 60 days before in your account with the prices. Before then, as mentioned no prices. At 60 days you can also make specialty restaurant and spa reservations. Keith
  21. There are many other wines on board that you can purchase. There is an extensive list but it would be very time consuming and very challenging to photo. You could see if on board guest services might have it. Some of the wines on that list might not be available at the time of your sailing. Not sure if you ever do this nor where you are sailing but sometimes it's fun to either bring on board wine when you embark or pick up something local in port. But there will be lots of other choices for purchases on board. Keith
  22. Another view of Serenity a couple of years ago after debarking in Miami. Keith
  23. Just slightly over two years ago on-board Serenity from Nassau, Bahamas. Keith
  24. The difference is the work was done in a dry dock. So, depending on how extensive this is and where the casino will go it might require a dry dock. Time will tell. 😄 Keith
