  1. You would only be a couple of floors from the YC interior cabins to the 19th deck YC pool deck. Look at the deck plans to see if the cabins are too far from the elevators or stairs.
  2. Since the chances are that you would cancel and rebook another cruise, I would recommend that you either book a non-YC cabin, or another cruise/resort that allows cancellations.
  3. Lucky you, I’m still trying to get my points from a January cruise!
  4. Maybe post the question one more time and the genie will answer!
  5. The lagoon is usually calm, Sunset Beach, Bimini Beach, Lighthouse Beach would get wave action. I’ve never snorkeled at Ocean Cay though.
  6. Here is a screenshot from MSC website that I just took. But as with MSC, you never know!! Good luck!!
  7. If you have been on IOS, go ahead, let your hair down and give Meraviglia a go. MSC offers several pricing options to fit any budget. There are many youtube videos of Mera, these should help you decide if it would work for you!
  8. I have that same pair, plus the flip flop style!!
  9. Youtube has a video of 14076, on the starboard side. Might answer your question. Search: MSC Meraviglia Cabin 14076
  10. Precovid , you could get drink and food delivered. That was December 2019. Hopefully still the same, as we have one rented in August, split between two couples!
  11. We were in YC inside on Meraviglia in January, I would say that the cabin is not any bigger than other inside cabins. The bathrooms are also small compared to YC deluxe suites. You do get all of the conveniences of the YC though!
  12. I would think that they would have 3 and 4 night cruises, as that makes more sense to me than a 2 night cruise. It amazes me at the distance some people travel for a 2 nighter. We live in West Palm and can be at the port in 30 minutes. We did a 2 night MSC from Cape Canaveral in January, that went to their private island just south of Bimini.
  13. We were on MSC Sinfonia for an April 2019 Mediterranean cruise. We really enjoyed the smaller ship, even though it didn’t have all the bells and whistles as the newer ships.
  14. Remember ,if you meet some new besties on the cruise, you can invite them to share your cabana with you! We did this precovid, and still keep in touch!
  15. I’ve been to Ocean Cay 3 times, every time has been starboard side.
  16. We were on Margaritaville in December, one of the bartenders that I have gotten to know over the years (as Grand Classica), told me there could be another ship. He mentioned Port Canaveral as a possibility. I’m pretty sure that a larger ship could not be ported at Palm Beach, limited by size of the port, and the residents of Palm Beach Island.
  17. Shipgeeks, I know I’m late to the party, but thanks for your comments. We will be in Halifax in October, so will now send time on our own visiting to sites!!
  18. I have read that Newport is a tender port.
  19. I believe that there is an option to select the names to include on the card. If a name is not selected, that person registers their card information. Not sure about debit, have only registered the credit card.
  20. Just off Liberty, they have magnetic signs for sleeping in and for out exploring!
  21. It seems that Margaritaville at Sea has raised the prices to cover the 2nd passenger. Just did fake booking, $599 for interior room per passenger! This is the pricing for 2 back before 2 for 1. I’ll pass and go on RCL or Norwegian!
  22. Check out MSC, they sail out of Canaveral and Miami. Not that they are “better”, but they are different, since they are an Italian cruise line. Their pricing structure allows for budget cruising up to luxury cruising. We have been on 5 MSC cruises with 2 more this year.
  23. We just came off a 3 night Liberty of the seas, very few people had masks on.
  24. We usually head to the nearest bar for a celebratory drink!
