I have seen that. People tasting out of the serving spoon, pick up with their fingers, taste something and put it back and etc. If I go to the buffet I am very picky. I will go to the Pasta station or areas where the food is served. I don’t take anything out of trays Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

The suite dining room Luminae is open for lunch on every sea day and embarkation day. It offers a better menu than than the CC embarkation lunch The retreat deck serves a lunch on port days. The menu is limited but worth trying. If you don’t like what is on the menu go to the buffet, Spa Cafe, Mast Grill, Sushi, room service. There are many options on port days when Luminae isn’t open. We re Elite Plus, and lately have been staying in SS. Most of the benefits are redundant of what you get by staying in a suite. Yes you do get laundry and if that is important you can pay for it. It is cheaper to pay for the laundry than paying more for a Celebrity Suite. We very rarely go to the Elite breakfast as we have Luminae and room service. The drinks are included in the premium pack that we get and the internet is also included. Being Elite doesn’t offer much if in a suite and you can always get extra points by participating in the bonus points that Celebrity offers thru emails Don’t chase after the points. Best place is in your cabin on the TV. If it is in the Sports Bar the sound may not be on and there are too many distractions. ESPN is available on the TV in the cabin. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I use a water pik. The outlet in the bath ones not support it. I will plug it into a outlet in the cabin and let the water flow into the trash can or just swallow it It is water and the stuff in between my teeth is already in my mouth and stuff I ate. No reason to spit it out. Plus the extra water keeps me hydrated Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

There is a airline that books cruises. They charged me $25 pp booking fee and then wanted $25 pp for any change I made. If I wanted to change cabins, get a price reduction and etc. $25 pp for each change. One and done. I didn’t know about the fees until after I booked the cruise. I had the chance to cancel and rebook with another TA but it was a weekend deal. By the time I found out about those fees the sale was over and the price of the cabin almost doubled. We been on many cruises scheduled to stop at Grand Cayman. I say it is a 50 50 chance of stopping there. If the seas are too rough they will skip the port as it is too dangerous for the tenders. Hope it works out for you Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

YourTA has nothing do with the 3 perks you are getting. It is a promo from Celebrity. If your TA is telling you that they were giving you that they are misleading you and taking credit for something included in the price you are paying. In certain categories there is a cheaper rate that doesn’t include those perks. I think your TA included those perks to increase their commission. Look up the booking on Celebrity’s website doing a mock booking and see if there is a basic fare with no perks. Then call the TA and have your fare adjusted with no perks Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Book a different sailing if that one isn’t one that you really need to sail on. There have been times when I have looked to book a cruise and the category I am interested in has no availability and it says to try a different sailing. depending on how far out your cruise is some will cancel when final payment is due and occasionally as the cruise date approaches. Keep checking on line and don’t trust your agent. If something does open put a hold on it and then contact your agent to make the changes Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

You will not get the premium bev pack, high speed internet, Luminae for lunch on sea days, or use of the lounge and retreat deck. When were sailed on the Apex all the suites were sold. Never had a problem in any of the retreat areas. The ship was designed for sailing full. We were in a S3. If you want a nice balcony experience stay with the S3. You will be very happy with it. The butler will serve you a full breakfast on it every morning if you request it. We spent a lot of time on our balcony. It was private, had the internet and the butler would sometimes surprise us with a drink that he knew we liked. I fell asleep out there on many nights. You will also lose the SBC that is $400 pp. You can use that to play in the casino and hopefully get most of it back. The winnings can be cashed in . Move ups aren’t guaranteed. Aqua does not have balconies just IV. Why wouldn’t you be dining in Luminae? There were a few solo diners and some that weren’t should have been as both were constantly on their phones instead of conversing with each other. Photos of our the balcony on the end suite. Some people like the standard AQ cabins as it doesn’t have the large overhand and want a lot of sun on their balcony. Problem is they are under the gym or buffet and may get a lot of morning noise. The prime are under a large overhangs that provides more shade. Some don’t like it. It is also under the pool area that may also have some late night noise from the pool deck parties and moving lounge chairs around for housekeeping. I like the overhang and shade. We went on a B2B Alaskan cruise in May 2008. It is known to be the rainy season. It only rained one day. The weather was perfect. The day it rained was the last port that we had already been to and it started 1 hour before sail away Can anyone predict the weather? My guess is no. The weather reporters are wrong more times than being right and are very good tap dancers explaining why they were wrong about the day before plus why they may not be right today or tomorrow The best weather person was Ben Franklin and he did it without all the modern day resources. That is what I do. That is why I get the premium pack. When I have a drink I want it made with the spirits that I want and not from the well. I will scout the bars looking for the spirits that I want and get my drink from there. Most of my drinks are Neat, or a Old Fashion and I always have to tell them not to top it off with water or soda and not too sweet. Years ago my wife got a Cosmo at the Martini Bar. She really liked it. She got one in the theater and it wasn’t the same. We found that the Martini bar uses Grey Goose and Cointreau and is one of their premium drinks in the large glass. At other bars even though you have the premium they will make it with a well vodka and Triple Sec. The Martini BTs told us that no other bar are allowed to make it like they do. We usually get the premium package because the spirits and drinks we like are in the premium. A BT thst we have become “friends” with because he was on several cruises that we were on told us that the Classic was the best value as 90% of the drinks that people order are in the classic. Any frozen drink is, any drink at the pool, in the theater, and most lounges unless you ask for a specific liquor you will get it made from the well. They don’t look at your card and see that you have a premium pack and use premium spirits. They use from the well. World Class Bar and, all Martinis on the Menu at the Martini Bar are premium. You can get a martini at the martini bar with the classic but it will be smaller, using classic spirits. I don’t think they will make you one from the menu using spirits in the classic package. Never asked for it that way. if you want to have a premium drink you pay the difference plus the gratuity that May amount to $3. Depends on how many premium drinks you drink to determine if it is worth the upgrade. If you do upgrade do it on board and with a BT you like as they get the gratuity part and become your friends for the rest of the cruise. Don’t do it with the hawks on the first day as all they want is the gratuity and you will never see them again. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

You have it backward. The people that have early seating only have about 1 hour of free drinks before they dine in the MDR that night. The free drinks aren’t included in the MDR. Those that have the late dining have 2 hours. Order a drink at 7and keep it until you are ready. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
