  1. A cruise line actually stated that they need to continue increasing prices? No euphimisms such as 'A return to profitability will continue to face strong headwinds'?
  2. No, you will attest that you are fully caccinated.
  3. They can't. Also, they're not well positioned to judge the potential risk(s) posed by pretty much every other other passenger. Don't stigmatize those who have an emotional support animal.
  4. I'm afraid your memory of what used to happen and drawing conclusions from what people say on CC is not a good way to frame statements on travel documentation requirements for Canadians and Americans.
  5. Need to be fully vaccinated to enter the US (two shots, last shot at least two weeks ago). After May 11, may be OK. Keep checking.
  6. All great stuff for an onboard flea market.
  7. Probably several of them but none can be trusted.
  8. Cunard would likely be your best bet for a westbound transatlantic in the spring or early summer.
  9. We used Bob's Limo last September. Happy with service and price: https://www.romelimousines.com/transfers/private-local-transfers/private-local-transfer-civitavecchia/
  10. Probably tastes yucky, but.... https://www.lavazza.com/en/business/coffee-capsules-pods/blue-choco-fondente#:~:text=Capsule Blue Choco Fondente, intense aroma of dark chocolate.
  11. This is for re-entry to the United States. CBP is always very careful to highlight that entry into other countries may involve more than the WHTI requirements and travellers shojld check with those countries' appropriate authorities. As it happens, for this cruise the DL and official BC for coming to Canada on ghe ship are fully satisfactory.
  12. Excellent... we're off-topic in 5!!
  13. Are you looking for their entire health protocol or a specific cruise departure/destination?
  14. Information only. OP didn't even express much of an opinion.
  15. Maybe, but I think you're cutting it too close.
  16. Take a taxi. It's convenient, quick and will likely cost about $20 with a tip.
  17. The train schedule and timing don't tell the full story. Typically, people want to visit the upper portion of Taormina not the train station, which is at the bottom of the hill. A taxi would be required back and forth from/to the train station to enjoy the sights and get back to Siracusa. Really, this is not a good candidate for a DIY excursion. Oh yes.... don't forget about travelling back and forth to the Siracusa rail station.
  18. Travel/medical insurance I always have. Our plan (through a federal government retirees program) is paid monthly and always in effect when we travel. Trips over 40 days out of country need supplemental insurance. I never pay extra (insurance) for refundable deposits. That's something I will risk as I already know the cost of that as opposed to not knowing what the cost of a travel/medical insurance claim may work out to and most cruise lines will provide a credit for the deposit to be used on a future cruise. I don't cruise on lines that require 'large' portions of the full cruise fare as a deposit but I do understand many people do and the insurance calculation for them is probably entirely different than mine.
  19. I'm pretty much of the same mind. Our travel/medical insurance is pretty good but, of course, they don't offer the service Medjet Assist does. We've decided not to purchase the package. For sure I can understand why others may - peace of mind and/or due to the amount of travel and locations.
  20. I can see how your count works. Any idea how @Haqdeluxe comes up with a Saturday morning discharge?
  21. Evidently, there is a time-saving service I wasn't aware of.... you can pay somebody to check your luggage on your behalf and head directly to security with a boarding pass in hand (hopefully with TSA Pre-Check)?
  22. What does this have to do with catching a 1000 flight out of Fort Lauderdale following a cruise?
  23. No, it is not an insurance company and is not selling an insurance product/policy. It is a membership program offering medical evacuation service(s).
