  1. I believe it’s next to the balcony. When you look at a deck plan, there are little indentations in the “wall” that separates the rooms. Your indentation is close to the balcony so that’s where the bed is. Hopefully that’s your preference!
  2. I can do without as lot of things, but no hash browns…😱😱😱
  3. Thanks for the review. I have sailed twice on Edge…both times in a SV. Sorry you had a problem with your stateroom. Did maintenance try to solve the problem before moving you?
  4. Another follower…have a great cruise. It’s 96 days until I board Equinox. Your report will carry me through the long days. Bon Voyage ⚓️
  5. Yes, it is...at least on the decks I was on. The balcony is pretty deep (enough for a lounger to fit with room at the foot of it to walk around). I am very pale so I often pull the “regular” chair close to the glass door for cover. Hope that helps…and you get lucky with your bid.
  6. I'd try for the SV as quickly as possible. That is a "true" balcony with an amazing view of the wake. I've been on both deck 9 and deck 10. Both great. Good luck.
  7. Looking forward to your review. I have sailed twice on Equinox (actually my first Celebrity cruise) and will sail on her again in February…also the ABC islands; but rather than Grand Cayman, we will stop in Puerta Plata. Bon Voyage ⚓️
  8. Enjoy the SV. I have sailed in a SV on Edge twice and it is amazing. Also booked for next year on Apex. I book far, far in advance of sailing before the prices skyrocket. You’ll love the view of the wake from a true balcony.
  9. Not specifically porthole verandah rooms on the third floor, but there are multiple videos of that type of room on YouTube.
  10. My description was a bit off also. As a chronic overpacker, I wouldn’t be able to fit me and all my “stuff” into a solo cabin! 😉
  11. I was in a Sunset Verandah. Because of the no solo supplement that was offered, my friend and I were able to each have our own cabin. We each got double points.
  12. I typically have a cabin to myself and earn double points. No single supplement and double points was a happy surprise. Maybe it was the little gift I brought for BugNaked that sealed the deal 😉.
  13. I booked Edge September, 2021…solo cabin…no Single Supplement…I received double points 👍.
  14. Thanks Jim. I remember the uber/shuttle driver usually needing to show some sort of documentation verifying we are entering the port area for a cruise...safety first, right?
  15. Thank you. I presume the transit card that has been mentioned will get me back into Port Everglades, correct?
  16. We were lucky enough to visit Bermuda this past August. Horseshoe Bay Beach is the most beautiful beach I've ever seen. Enjoy 😎
  17. Perfect...we don't plan to get back onboard until later anyway. This is why I love Cruise Critic...everyone is so helpful! Thanks.
  18. That's great info...thanks. We are planning to get off the ship when our friends depart at the end of our first cruise, spend some time in Ft. Lauderdale and then return to the ship. Will we need to select a time to get back on the ship like we did for the first sailing?
  19. Fraser Olender is coming back soon as chief stew on the new series. Love him! Oops, I think we hijacked this thread. Sorry PinkSandGirl 😉
  20. Why do I get the feeling we are going to have a lot to talk about on Silhouette? 😉
  21. Following along…it will be fun reading two reviews of the same cruise! Bon Voyage Susan
  22. ...and I'm jealous of your upcoming cruise on Beyond. Let us know when your report will begin. Always a good read!!! Will this be the single ladies cruise that you talked about on your last cruise?
  23. On our first Reflection cruise, our cabins were right around the corner from the Hideaway. Great spot to relax! And early morning coffee was easy to get to! Enjoy.
