Msc seaside cabin photos only!

It isn't one giant room. The drawing on MSC's site is not accurate as far as the layout. I went into 11002 two days ago. I don't have pictures as the room was not part of the tour and the only way I could get in was to agree to not take them.

When you get to the end of the hall' date=' the door is on the right side, not straight ahead. There is a hallway that was pretty wide straight to the living room. The first door on the left was the walk through closet. In the closet was a door to the bathroom. I didn't go in there, but my friend did. I forgot to ask if there was just a shower or a bathtub too. The second door on the left is the bedroom, which you have seen the picture. At the end of the hall is the very large living room and straight ahead is the balcony. The balconies all appear to be the same size as the other balcony rooms, just because of the metal decor on the side of the ship, some are a bit more obstructed than others.

I had this room booked but switched to an SJ3 instead. I'm pleased to see that the living room is on the side instead of the bedroom.[/quote']

Thanks for the update on 11002. Did the balcony have room for a lounger. And secondly did they take room away from the balcony by putting up a balcony divider at the very front of the "cove" thus making the balcony smaller. Overall, what were your impressions if you can say. Thanks

For some of us, it's too late to switch cabins. So hopefully it will be ok.

It is interesting that they were not allowing people to take pictures of 11002. Makes one wonder why.

Thanks again.

The room was NOT on the tour. I asked for special consideration to view the room and to do so, I offered to not post pictures as the room was not completely made up. Please don't read anymore into this than what it is.

The balcony is not smaller than a regular balcony. They did not take away space. I don't recall if there was a lounger out there. As I said, I was originally booked in there and I chose to change when I thought the living room and bedroom were reversed. I was pleasantly surprised by the layout. I wish there was a door to the bathroom from the bedroom, but it is what it is.

Cruisin friends - I appreciate your feedback. I also very much respect what you did. You gave your word not to take any pictures and honored it. Much respect to you for that. I would have done the same thing.

It's good to hear that you were pleasantly surprised. I booked my suite based on the published dimensions of the cabin and balcony and knew when I did it would be a one bedroom. I do wish the balcony size was as advertised but hey it is what it is.

Hope you enjoyed your time on Seaside. Many thanks again.

There has been so much anticipation about these rooms, I really haven’t seen anything like this. I believe that because of this people’s expectations were raised extremely high! I still can’t believe how inexpensive my family of 4 paid for this cabin and how many things are included!! Would I like the room to be more luxurious? Of course but people please remember how much more a comparable sized room would be on rcl or ncl. My family and I stayed in a haven 1 bedroom suite on the getaway a few years back in the same location . The balcony was small and in the hull. It did have wicker chairs and the room was extremely well appointed and the bathroom was amazing!! But we paid well over double! I do agree msc handles this extremely poor and I pity the families that we’re not on cruise critic to discover they are not two bedroom! Otherwise I can’t wait!!

Hi Spunky1968, thanks for trying to post pics of 10001. We are on the Jan 13 cruise and very curious to see pics of the suite. Would you be able to try posting again or does anyone else know where we could find pics? Thank you. Can’t wait for first family cruise!

It's from my sis, she is onboard now!

Hi Victor, we will be in suite 10001 with our family of 5 on the Jan 13 cruise. Would you have any other pics you could post of the suite? Thanks a lot and hope the room worked well for your sister.

Photos of 9002 on Seaside. ***Not my photos, but shared with permission.*** There was so much room, they could put the crib in the corner of the room. (I have not figured out how to post photos properly, hence the links.)

Oh interesting. I like the balcony, but the layout inside is a bit strange with all the open space by the door.

Thank you so much. I have been wanting to see this cabin as we are in 9003. You've made my day :D

I got THIS LINK from SNJCruisers in another thread.

Tons of photos taken by Cruise Critic.

I HOPE that some of these staterooms will get some of the missing items before I sail.

TW - Thanks for the link. Indeed lots of very nice pictures. I am sure they couldn't take photos of all the cabin categories as access may have been limited to some. I will board tomorrow and will share details of my cabin.

Thanks for the front corner suite pictures. I have one booked for Feb and was really curious as to what MSC did with it.

I do agree with the other poster that they seem to have messed up the layout a bit. Seems like a lot of waste space in that one corner where the family has set up their crib. Overall it is a good size though and the balcony looks nice.
