Any free Wi-Fi at Grand Turks, Half Moon Cay or Freeport?

Wondering if any of the bars, places to eat, beaches or hotels allowed to be used by cruisers has free Wi-Fi or Hot spots?

Not that I've seen at HMC. GT and Freeport will have free WiFi at bars and restaurants near the pier. I got burned at HMC once, my T-Mobile plan includes 100+ countries but not Bahamas...

We've seen people (mostly ship's crew) using the wifi at Margaritaville in GT, not sure if it's free but would assume so if you ordered something (drink, food).

GT has it at Margaritaville and Jacks Shack and possibly other places. Ask waiter or waitress for passcode

Warning...Matgaritaville wifi is extremely slow..... Need alot of patience!!

I was just at Margaritaville in Grand Turk last week - Wifi connected but DID NOT WORK at all.

you can have 5 bars of wifi and still have no internet

Half Moon Cay is a private island. No free wifi there

Free wifi at Grand Turk is extremely hit and miss -- mostly miss. It can be EXTREMELY s-l-o-w or not working at all.

Jacks Shack in GT has free WiFi, however, we weren’t able to connect to it

For Freeport I would ask on the Bahamas Board found at: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=-1&f=58

Also try to goggle it as I have in the past for other ports.

Really? You must not have a recent plan or that was some time ago.

We used the cell tower at HMC with T-Mobile with no issue and the Bahamas is listed together with Turks and Caicos Islands as included in the countries with free data.

There is a beach side bar restaurant next to the dock at GT and they have free wi fi.

There is free wifi at the Juice/Smoothie bar, straight in front of you as you exit the cruise terminal building. It's speed is ok,( as long as the 'entitled' don't insist on using Facetime or Whatsapp video calls.:evilsmile::mad: and using all the bandwidth).
