Sorry David Cancel that request the TA we were using who was our first time and only choice for this offer (lol) did not put a hold on the cabin and then as they were 'sold out' quoted me a further $1000 for an inside cabin against the outside porthole one she was quoting

I will not be doing this cruise after all (nor using them again):mad:

Have a great cruise. The rain is very welcome. It will fill many a water tank and dampen down any scrub fires....not good for the New Years Day celebrations though.

Hi David, could you please add Azamara Journey leaving on 29th August 2016 to your list. Given that Istanbul is the embarkation port, and various cruise lines are pulling Turkey from their 2016 itineries, I'm holding off on booking air. Am wondering if anyone has any insights/advice on this changeable situation, although who can tell what the future holds of course!

Lovely cruise and an interesting scenario. Two things spring to mind...if the cruise line changes the itinerary after accepting bookings , you would expect them to offer some sort of compensation or accommodation for guests to change plans. .... I would imagine the whole ship will flying in for the cruise . The other thing , re booking air , may be to have a chat with your travel insurance company and get a cover/quote in the event of a change or cancellation for your flights.
