when is last minute reservations over?

i found a cruise today that is sailing out in 5 days and they are still trying to sell interior cabins at a good price. when they say "last minute buying"......somepeople say "the sooner the better" but what's the latest that i can book ? happy cruising to you.

I would check with the cruise line or your TA to be sure. I think the cut off is 48 hours before sailing.

Yes, check with the cruise line to see when they will close the reservations. Personally, if you are interested in this cruise I wouldn't wait any longer to book it.

On Carnival you can call the morning of sailing and book. EM

It depends on the line and how late they are willing to sell a cabin. Some have a 24 or 48 hour cutoff, but others will sell as late as the day of sailing. The only government requirement is that a passenger manifest be provided 60 minutes prior to sailing.

RCL told me I had to book by sat afternoon to get on a ship leaving the next day, being a sunday. What day of the week it is also matters how late you can book.

Like others said it depends on the cruiseline. I was told RC is 24 hours, Carnival & HAL same day...
