Pia, Pam, Bob, Amelia, et al ~ You don't know us but we truly feel as if we know each and every one of your through your entertaining, educational, insightful, humorous, and (sometimes) snarky comments (we mean "snarky"as a compliment!!). Your TA has been a part of our daily routine for the past month and we will miss all of you come tomorrow. CC is such a wonderful site....we learn so much through ALL comments cruises ~ the good, the bad, the this-needs-to-be-improved. We want to thank all of you for the time you spent out of your vacation to keep the rest of us informed and up to date. Perhaps we will get the chance to sail with some of you in the future. Until then......safe travels home.

I just wanted to give a big Thank You to all the posters of this "Live" thread. It was very informative to read the thoughts and impressions from so many of the regulars on the Princess board. I appreciated hearing both the good, the bad and the ugly. Many thanks to all of you for taking the time to keep us informed.

Pia, Pam, Amelia, Bob, etal - thank you so much for all the time you spent giving us your input with so many interesting posts. It will help me when I do my 12 day b2b starting Tuesday, October 29. You were all very kind to use your internet minutes.

Thank you and safe trips home.

Thanks Gloria and Pam

Pam I guess I was just surprised that you were flying out of Miami. I had always heard that getting to Miami from Fort Lauderdale was a pain.

Joe

I do NOT agree with that! Yes, there is horrendous traffic in that area, but there are also some major roadways, interstates and rail systems that can take you through 3 counties. Unless you experience it, do not believe the rumors. Been thee, done that! Lived there for a bunch of years!

I'm still here, though the net has been awful today. I just wanted to thank you for the "thank yous". I always have fun doing this. However, it's been a bit tedious at times due to the huge amounts of posting and just happy that my minutes lasted. I could never imagine in advance that there would be close to 200,000 hits on this LIVE. It has been extraordinary.

Nothing exciting on this end right now. Will check in again in the morning. And hooray! We get another extra hour of sleep tonight.

Now back to locking the cases and putting them out.

P.S. Two days in a row my afternoon trivia team got perfect scores. I know you really needed to know that. :D:D:D

Thanks to all the posters....Pia, Pam, Bob, Amelia.

I was not at all interested in this ship until DH showed interest in a Baltic next summer. Now I have been absorbing all info possible to plan as best I can.

All reports from the Live have been so helpful as well as entertaining as Pia's Live From always are.

Looking forward to your next live Pia.

Judy

The hair dryer is attached and stored in a desk drawer. It's bigger than other Princess hair dryers and has two speeds: low and high. No temp setting. It was adequate.

Discovered a new policy today and got it verified by two different people at two different times at the PSD. If you have a credit balance/leftover OBC, it is automatically refunded to your credit card. No more differentiation between refundable and non-refundable, no more having to take cash out via the casino, etc. Much simpler and easier for all.

The people have "made" this cruise. Yes, there were issues and a degree of frustration but the great people I've met, friendships rekindled, and future get-togethers both on and off-ship have made this a great cruise and I'm looking forward to next year. I know I'll really miss the expanded Horizon Court while on the Sapphire in March.

Safe travels to all and I hope to see you all again in the future.

Pam, I would appreciate it if you post when you get home if your final bill listed how much OBC was credited back to your credit card. Thanks to you and other Royal cruisers for taking us on your journey ! Now , I need to start taking my things out for my Dec. 7th Coral Princess to the Panama Canal. I am not a last minute packer and Nov. is already too busy .

Thanks so much, in spite of having she bummers. I had a great cruise, met some wonderful people, saw some fantastic ports, and plan on taking this ship next year for the same reasons; ports, and people!

Many blessings go to all who are traveling g tomorrow, may your trips be swift and short!

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading everyone's experiences on the Royal, both the pros and cons. I actually went from having zero interest in the Royal to now wanting to experience what this ship has to offer. Thanks to all of you for taking me along on your journey!

Congratulations. As your reward, you may have two Pepsis tomorrow.

Thanks to you and to Pam and to Bob and to Amelia for another great Live. It seemed to go by so fast on this end; hope it seemed slower to y'all! I look forward to your next cruise(s).

I'd particularly like to thank Amelia, some of whose port postings (possibly on a different Live? I've lost track of where this cruise went before it hit the Atlantic!) have been helpful to me in planning my own adventures for this December's cruise.
