VioletHorse Posted December 28, 2013 #11 Share Posted December 28, 2013 I searched for these "short" cruises that were allegedly being offered by HAL according to the article. All of them are 1 time only cruises used to reposition ships to and from from Alaska. There are no regularly scheduled cruises offered less than 7 days. Thanks to Fox News for its usual accurate reporting.
prescottbob Posted December 28, 2013 Author #12 Share Posted December 28, 2013 Ahoy! Actually the author of the article is Paul Motter, editor of the CruiseMates.com site & not a reporter for FN. It's an interesting site that's been around awhile. We report, you decide. Bon Voyage & Good Health! Bob

Rare Murray's Pop Posted December 29, 2013 #19 Share Posted December 29, 2013 I am happy to see the resurgence of traditional dining vs anytime dining. Hope it is true. I am in agreement of enjoying traditional dining and hope the above is true, however the news on "trends" depend on the article. The article below is taking the trend in the opposite direction. http://www.examiner.com/article/cruise-trends-trips-what-s-what-s-out-aboard-cruise-ships
