Thanks for your response please excuse my lack of understanding on this but I can't see how this would be an attractive offer ie. 1. to give up your much anticipated holiday 

2. A full refund (as OBC)  (you then use this to pay for 3.)

3. An alternate cruise for the same length and cost.

 

You are not getting anything 'extra' as such, just same for same but at a different date or have I misunderstood??

Okay, 

Point 1 is a negative offer, as you miss your holiday/cruise. 

Point 2 is a neutral offer as you get your money back (albeit as OBC on the chosen replacement cruise).

Point 3 is a positive offer as it is a free cruise.

 

So in my case it was a week cruise for around $1500 pp, we would get another week cruise for free to replace this one and $3000 OBC (whatever is not spent, is refunded back at the end of the cruise).

my goal on this cruise 7 days to Mahogany Bay is to bring one suitcase weighing 30lbs or less.

the bottle of wine and 12 cokes do not count as they will be in a tote bag with my D90 and swimsuit.

i will keep you posted as to how i did.

on this cruise we are on 7th floor toward front of ship, 2 floors above the auditorium, close to the adults only serenity on front, exercise room on front, close to atrium but not close to guy fieri burgers. oh well we need to walk that off anyway if we have one.
