Yes that is wrong. You can book entertainment through the cruise planner on Quantum and Oasis Class Ships. There never is any set in stone time frame when it opens up. I have seen it open up both before and after the 120 day mark. Just check often!

What is the latest known date for booking opening? We're only 40 days out for 7 day Harmony cruise. Just a thought, might booking be restricted for the 3 and 4 day taster cruises?

Look to be typical theater lights to me. They are fairly heavy and are raised up to the cat walks by ropes or some sort of pulley system where they are then fastened to the light battens.

Kind of freeze framed it the first time papcx. Watched it a few more times and they do seem to be moving in sync. I have seen aerial shows on stage. This could be that type of rigging and they loaded lights or some kind of weights on them to test it out :confused::confused:

Having sailed on the Quantum, I wouldn't recommend that class of ship. I think you will be very disappointed. Check the reviews. Only about 47% of those who sailed on the ship enjoyed it. It is more crowded and disorganized then any other cruise I have sailed on- including Carnival. It was such a disappointment.

Some folks mentioned the possibility the slide will block the view as a negative - how about all those folks screaming while going down? Will you have a hushed crowd seeing some show in the Aquatheater interrupted by someone screaming in the Abyss?

Like the Captan's Corner? Perhaps the slide will be closed while shows go on at the AT.

I mentioned those things a while back when the whole slide concept was announced...agree these have a good potential to alienate/annoy as many passengers as they entertain others. Got plenty of mixed responses at that time from both perspectives.

 

Time will tell if the location of the Abyss (in particular) proves to be a plus or a negative addition to the Oasis class ships.
