My husband and I got comfortable in front of the TV last night to watch it. Then we learned that our cable subscription doesn't include the Science Channel. (We have RCN in Washington, DC.) We were so disappointed.

if you have friends with fios, maybe someone will record it for you? we're dc-area (fairfax va) with fios, and were able to get it.

there was a special on quantum or anthem that was only shown in canada sometime last year. we never got to see it. so frustrating. :(

Am I the only one who, for some reason, thought the Abyss slides were going to be semi-transparent? I was looking forward to a view while sliding down. It looks like they won't be see-through based on these pictures.

They'd be incredibly scratched within weeks/months and no longer semi-transparent. But those first few rides would be great! Scary!

Are we going to be sitting on mats or something for the slide? I was just looking at it and thought what happens if you slow down or stop moving like those plastic slides at Mcdonalds playland. lol

I think there are mats, but as steep as those things look, I can't imagine stopping on the way down.

Needs to be dark because there will be LED lighting to increase the sense of speed.

that'll mess with some people sensory systems...lol

hope they put a warning up for people who are prone to seizures.

That sounds like OT talk...:D

You are right. Should definitely have a warning about seizures.
