Timeline of Checking In at Departure

Just throwing this out here . . . But, what about arriving at the port a day or two before :confused:

Have been to Venice before and local transportation is not necessarily the most reliable . . . :eek:

if you are arriving a day or so before would you not have a hotel ? They will store your bags (in most cases) until you head to the ship

The ship would not have returned from the prior cruise and the port will likely be closed so no way to check in and leave bags.
