I just booked directly with Carnival Australia 10 nights on Carnival Legend going to NZ (South Island) out of Melbourne.

Guaranteed Balcony $1199 pp

They also had inside $849 pp or Oceanview $1049 pp (Guaranteed)

Full payment required at booking and I believe deal ends tonight. It was their 72 hour sale. It thought it was good value no flight required for us.

Got our cabin allocation. We had booked guaranteed balcony cabin and we got allocated Stateroom / Cat: 8174 / 8K - extended balcony cabin. Thanks Carnival.  Must have seen our booze bill from last cruise with them and thought better keep those sloshes near the bar on the pool deck haha. Though we also spent some money at the spa and casino.

Sounds like a great result at a good price point.

HAL are having what they call a Cyber Sale at the moment.

Best of the bunch as far as I could see is:

Masdaam, Dec 8th, Auckland to Sydney, 13 nights

$991 Inside

$1088 Window

Does the usual ports plus New Plymouth, Nelson and Kaikoura.

Includes gratuities and $25 beverage card.

they've been trying to flog this cruise for a while now....  look at a post on page 107 from Tara Jane on the 30.10.2018

and I know we are 'cheap' on this thread... but ..  a '$25 beverage card' ??  gee... they are going gangbusters to fill this one with that offer.../s

Unless you have FF points - the Auckland flight part will be expensive.

I'm definitely cheap enough to never knock back $25.🍺

But the free grats are worthwhile.😎

I would be looking hard at this one if I weren't already booked elsewhere.
