Hi All, Sorry for absence.  Been very busy working on a personal project for my synagogue and it has taken lots of my free time focus.  In the next few days, I will give it my best, reaching out to my contacts to get some info.  I sail on Mariner from 11/16 - 11/23, so during that week, I won't be posting.

On Grandeur Hannah Yates will take over when Cece goes on vacation.  I did not ask the exact date but Mike said she had about a month left so the handover will most likely be December 13, the mid-month turnaround day for the Grandeur.  If I hear otherwise, I'll let you know.

Off to Mariner.....and meeting new friends.  Any news, from the high seas....just put it here....catch up NEXT WEEK!

Had a great time on Mariner these past 7 days.....the weekender always attracts more 'party animals' of which she had aplenty. The mid week, was family packed....kids had lots to do....and the Family Karaoke, attracted a lot of people.  Several times they did it immediately prior to Adult Karaoke, which was great to do.  Assata Young-Mayers makes a great pairing with Hugo....she has just enough energy, to keep it fun, without getting in Hugo's way.....she hosts some terrific games herself!

From information on the CD List, John Blair is currently on Radiance until 1/10/19 and Katrina Blair is usually with him as AM.  It is unlikely that they will only have a short (4 week) vacation.

As of the Nov 17th sailing, Tornado Tanya is acting CD on Anthem due to what was called an emergency leave by Dru. There as not an AM on that sailing. Not sure if she is still assuming both roles.

**** Symphony OTS –  Katy McCullagh  just confirmed with me that she is on SY until Feb 2, 2019.

What Activity Manager have you come across? If you can find out how long the Activity Manager on board is remaining with the ship, it would be greatly appreciated…..EVERYONE’s help is needed. Thanks!  Anyone who can share information about our Activity Managers, PLEASE do so. 

****Adventure OTS – Magic Marvin is on currently;  he may have taken over in October, for a 4 month contract.

 

****Allure OTS – Flávio Maeda  was on the sailing that was over Thanksgiving week, since he and Jimmy Rhodes did the traditional “Pardon the Turkey’ gig…..He may have just returned from vacation, so he could be onboard until mid March  or he never went on vacation from a contract start date of 6/25/18…..looking to find out more.

 

****Anthem OTS – Tornado Tanya returned on 10/18 probably for 4 months. On the 11/17 cruise Tornado Tanya was acting CD since Dru had to leave the ship unexpectedly.   Looking for information from cruisers on subsequent sailings as to the status on their sailing.  Advise.

 

****Brilliance OTS – Saini has been identified as onboard on 11/11. Until when…..is the question?

 

****Empress OTS – Has Mickey Martin returned to Empress or is someone else her AM?

 

****Enchantment OTS – Mosese Vatuloka was onboard the 9/17 sailing.

 

****Explorer OTS – Aysy Sadrislamova was scheduled to be onboard until early October. Who is there now?

 

****Freedom OTS – Alexander Schmidt returned June 9 until early October.  Who is onboard now?

 

****Grandeur OTS – Cecy Del Razo returned in mid August for a 4 month contract. Just in from Cecy, she is on GR until 12/13 when she moves to Mariner.  Hannah Yates will take over.  Katrina Blair will probably be heading to GR on Feb 14, when John Blair takes over as CD.

 

*****Harmony – Alex Green starts 9/29 (for a 4 month contract?).

 

****Independence OTS – Elizabeth Hackett returned 8/5 for a 4 month contract, which would take her to early Dec.

 

*****Jewel OTS – Jerry (Gerardo De La Concha Kubli) just started a new contract in November, probably for 4 months.

 

*****Liberty OTS – Enzo Matijaca took over early August until late September. Renato Arena should have taken over from Enzo and Enzo has told me that he returns to Liberty on Dec 1.
