Left over money

Maybe you should go on a nudist cruise then. Wouldn't even need any clothes so you could travel with only a backpack. Would just have to be very careful while eating soup at dinner of course!

Don't think I would like the grill /hotdog area either.:p

I had the money sent to my OBA because I'm from Australia and our exchange rate from Au dollars to US is very poor at around 78 cents to one US dollar. Princess are giving 90 cents so it makes a lot of sense to send myself the money.

Cheers. :D

At the moment 78c would be looking pretty good.

For our upcoming cruise I started out with $725 OBC. We don't even board for more than 30 days and I now have $52 left. I don't know what this "leftover money" thing is.

Some concepts are best left unanswered and not thought about too much. In this case thinking about "leftover money" from a cruise will just mess up our brain cells and leave us in some sort of cosmic haze. :D

Oh, the concept of leftover money is simple. It's money you "left over" here and the money you "left over" there and also the money that was left way, way "over there!"

See? Simple concept, huh? ;)

How are you spending it prior to boarding, ? excursions and dinners?

Oh! Now I understand. Thanks for the explanation. While I don't think it fits the question posed by the OP it certainly does help define "leftover money" in my case. Thanks! :D

I plan on buying OBC, as well. We just like everything pre-paid. However, I now have the Princess Visa and I understand that buying Casino Cash doesn't qualify for double points, but it doesn't say that I can't buy OBC with it for double points (unless I missed it, and will be quickly corrected). If so, it will be the same as what cardholders do by cashing in their points after their cruise to maximize the credits.

Not sure if my logic is correct. If not, fire away....

Safe Journeys, Paul

If you mean buying casino credit before the cruise, it is treated like a regular Princess purchase and would count for double points.

If you mean charging casino money to your onboard account, when the total owed for your onboard account is set to the credit card company, it will be a regular Princess charge and get double points.

If you mean on board directly charging a casino advance to the credit card, it will be treated as a cash advance by the credit card company (along with all the charges and interest a cash advance brings with it) and will not qualify for any points.

What part of WV? CRW area per chance?

Thanks, Caribill.

Yes, that's what I mean, but I am even staying clear of the 'casino' credits, and just pre-buying OBC. So, no big bill at the end of the cruise, but double credits before the cruise!

No, all the way on the other side of the State near D.C.

Thanks and Safe Journeys, Paul

I should have said 73 cents. Anyway Princess are giving us 90 cents and that's a bargain.

Cheers. :)

Yep roughly a 15% bonus, if you could afford to whak down a few hundred grand you'd get a free cruise.

We will leave the wooden spoon to Carlton hopefully. ;)

We don't live anywhere near the Lions Club

Cheers

I think I said earlier that I have a mate in Buffalo who is a lions fan and he's been picking in the mighty Blues too.
