My word..... How on earth will it be finished and back to Miami by Wednesday?!!!!

My thoughts too! It has to be though ....because Host Andy is on the next cruise in three days and they wouldn't let him down. :)

Thanks to all for these incredible pictures of Journey's transformation and I'm now looking forward to some pictures of the finished product.

Hope you have a great cruise Andy.

They've got the furniture onboard, the carpets are pretty well down and most of the tiling and flooring around the ship seems to have been done so I think it will start to take on the new look at a pace now. Extra contractors brought on to get the work done.

And I bet Heike has her Marigold Gloves on and is helping with the dusting Phil!

I was so excited to wake up and enjoy all these new photos with my morning coffee (and the US East Coast blizzard outside - well, we're south of the "blizzard" but it IS snowing outside!)

I don't love all the carpeting, but I am enjoying the colors more than I thought I would when I saw the renderings. The beige & grey & greiges are very soothing!

Keep safe in the blizzard to y'all in its path. I'm sure there are quite a few struggling to get to their cruises.

Andy was up VERY LATE adding photos, I was reading at 07.15 GMT and he was still adding the last half dozen. Which by my calculations was 02.15 EST.

Andy - please peek into the spa suites when finished. Post pics.

Thanks!

Hi Zouave,

I'm going to try my very best to post some photos. At the very least, I will try to check out the Spa Suites. Only 1 concern.... I presume that guests may be booked in them, so I'm unsure how available they will be for viewing/photos etc. I'm putting this on my list for Day 1, but I'm hearing that boarding wont start until 2 pm, and, we already have the Meet and Mingle at 6 pm, so it's going to be a *very* hectic day. Hopefully, something can be worked out, so that I can take photos of the Spa Suite.

Andy,

Thanks for all you have done for us. Pushing the limits, I have a request/suggestion. If you have the capability of contacting Heike or Captain Johannes, could you ask them for pictures of the completed spa suites and both versions of the Club Continent Suites?

Those have been the subject of a LOT of conversation and angst on Cruise Critic. I have to admit to some level of concern myself as we have 45 consecutive days on Quest in August and 31 on Journey next year. The combination of one large chair and one "straight, office-like" chair is a little off-putting as it doesn't really look like two truly comfortable seats for long periods.

Andy, I agree with Phil. Please just enjoy your vacation. The amount of time you're spending to keep us updated with the renovations is above and beyond. We all thank you very much. I'm betting there will be lots of pictures posted from other cruisers on the first few cruises.

We all feel very lucky to have you on our Azamara board. ;)

I wish to add my thanks, Host Andy, to the great job you've done here, and the time and effort you've taken to make it available to all of us! I have been trying to keep up with all the photos and comments, but may have missed some? In particular, is there a picture of the Club Continental Suites? We were just offered an upgrade/upsell from a balcony for our Feb cruise. Would love to see something other than the rendering. Thank you in advance if something is available for viewing!:-)
