dcsam Posted December 10, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted December 10, 2016 Anybody know what the packages and rates are? Book ahead or when we board?
laurieb Posted December 10, 2016 #4 Share Posted December 10, 2016 You can find them on Azamara's website, under booked guests. Packages for specialty and chef's table. I don't think they can can be purchased before you board. We're planning on purchasing on our upcoming cruises. Grandma Cruising Posted December 11, 2016 #6 Share Posted December 11, 2016 We bought the $70 for three meals package. You can have any three - we booked all 3 in Prime C, as we love their steaks. Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app
NC&KY Posted December 11, 2016 #7 Share Posted December 11, 2016 And can they be purchased in advance? I had the impression that I could do so.

BBMacLaird Posted December 11, 2016 #9 Share Posted December 11, 2016 Here's the link to our Specialty Dining packages, in case anyone else is looking for it: https://www.azamaraclubcruises.com/booked-guests/onboard-packages/specialty-dining-packages Personally I like the "Chefs Table Plus Two." You get to sample both Aqualina and Prime C, plus your choice of the Chefs Table you would like to try.
Melissaghoti Posted December 11, 2016 #10 Share Posted December 11, 2016 What seating options are available for Chef's Table and specialty restaurants? I'm a solo cruiser and often eat with friends I've met onboard or at a shared table in MDR. Don't know if I'll feel comfortable alone in the more 'upscale' venues. Anyone have experience with this? Hey Melissa! The Chef's Tables I've been to are at the long high table by the entrance in Prime C. It's pretty informal and usually has a nice mix of people. I don't think you'd feel left out at all. Speak to the Maitre d' onboard and he will make sure you are looked after.

excitedofharpenden Posted December 11, 2016 #13 Share Posted December 11, 2016 Should have said it is usually hosted by one or two officers/staff.
BillC Posted December 11, 2016 #14 Share Posted December 11, 2016 Agree with Phil's points completely. The Cruise Directors usually host a solos table in the MDR on one of the first nights of each cruise. There are 3 different menus for the Chef's Tables - Italian, French and California. Each is coupled with multiple selections of very good wines, and the event usually is very social. We have met many solo travelers at them. We just had an 87 year old friend travel solo on Azamara and she was very pleased how well she was accepted and felt right at home to the point where she booked several more crises next year, including the one that we are really looking forward to, the Seychelles.n to
Melissaghoti Posted December 11, 2016 #15 Share Posted December 11, 2016 Yes, agree that Azamara makes solos very comfortable. I lucked into my first cruise being on Journey and I'm going back for more in May. I haven't done specialty restaurants though, but definitely plan to, now. cruisr Posted December 11, 2016 #17 Share Posted December 11, 2016 I got off three weeks ago (Incredible cruise BTW) and there was an addition to the Chefs Table. It was an Arabic menu and was awesome. I bought the 5 package (2 in each specialty and a Chefs Table). It was 195.00.
Melissaghoti Posted December 12, 2016 #18 Share Posted December 12, 2016 Is the Arabic destination specific or a permanent addition? Sent from my iPad using Forums
