Thank you so much for doing this review, I love reading your reviews.

Your two additional travel companions are beautiful. Your granddaughter must be so excited right now.

Good thing you have your own seats for the smoking lounge, there are many seats but they are awful to get in and out of for anybody with the slightest mobility issues - what were they thinking?

I enjoyed the Harmony in November, hopefully they have increased the mobile servers and bar staff since then, it was certainly lacking on that in every venue that I visited. For example not once did I have a server offer me a drink including the casino where I was visiting allot, if I wanted a drink anywhere I had to go to the bar, not really complaining although It was just a first experience for me to really notice the lack of servers. Please report on your observations of that.

Thanks to you and Judith for taking time out of your vacation and for sharing with us.

Enjoy!

HOTS has a smoking lounge? I don't remember one on Oasis other than by the pool or is this in the middle of the Casino?

We are on board the Harmony of the Seas!

I left my cell phone in our car so it took a bit of wandering around but we finally hooked up with Ally & Lyric.

The first thing we did on board was go to Chops and they made reservations for us for Chops today at 5:30 and Wonderland tomorrow at 5:30. Online booking was unavailable for any early times.

More to come...

After lunch we headed up to the smoking area (Ugh, Pooh) on the Pool Deck.

I stopped a fellow cruiser and asked her to shoot a photo of us.

On the way up we learned that they had closed the smoking area to smoking and collected all of the ashtrays because the ship was taking on fuel on the port side.

But we went there anyway hoping to hook up with Ally and Lyric.

The first thing we noticed was that the Adirondack chairs and tables had been reorganized to improve socialization which in turn increases bar sales.

This is a big improvement but the chairs are very hard to get into and out of!

I don't know who came up with the idea for these chairs but I definitely wouldn't be able to get out of them. Much too low. We were recently on the NCL Gem and on the pool deck they have tables and chairs all the way down on each side of the ship. Much nicer than this. Looking foward to your review and can't wait to see pics, especially of Lyric

The "Mustard" Drill was the worst I have ever attended.

Once we were all there easily 60% of the time was waiting for the Captain to talk or a video to play.

When it was over it was the worst mob scene I have ever seen.

I believe that, in the unlikely event of a real disaster, chaos would reign and it would be a disaster worse than the Titanic.

I thought the same thing on the Oasis. Next thing you know they'll add RCCL commercials in between the videos.

Muster station drills used to be worse. You had to put on your life preservers, line up in the sun and heat then the drill would start. So yes crowded and best to wait until the crowd dissipates then go to your destination.

Perhaps bad choice of words, it is a larger than what I remember Oasis being smoking "area" on the pool deck. Many Adirondack chairs...sorry for using the word lounge.
