Hi there...I cannot find deck plans anywhere. They keep saying stay tuned on the Celebrity site. Can you tell me where you found them? Thanks.

Here you go ! :)

Sorry if I missed it in an earlier post, no TA to Florida?

Hi Tommy,

Unconfirmed by myself - but others have reported she's sailing non-revenue on the TA to Ft Lauderdale.

If it is around, I hope they don't go back and make it a Cigar lounge, seems like that fad has passed.

I hear you Don. Personally, I'd be very surprised if they went back to the cigar bar format from many years ago. We'll see what happens.

Hope you are doing well Don - so nice to see you posting !

I know they didn't say anything but that big boxy thing at the pool deck looks suspiciously like a movie screen.

I think they did mention that screen. I thought it was a movie screen too but I'm sure I heard them say it was crystals copied from some Baccarat crystal masterpiece and these crystals would shine in the sunlight. Did anyone else hear that? Our video quit part way through and we had to listen on the cell phone so maybe I got this wrong?

Perhaps they should throw a party when the ship first arrives at Port Everglades.

Yes, Orator. I hope they do something nice for Zeniths and Elite Plus (maybe ???) . We'll be Zenith very soon - so hopefully, they will care more about us.

I'm not even getting emails from X anymore. Boo hoo. :(

Love the new concept in verandas! The folding glass doors and the ability to raise a window up from the railing!

WOW!

REALLY happy that they kept the bathroom a single unit and resisted the temptation to move the sink into the middle of the living room.

Probably late '19 for us, we are booked 2 a year until then, but worth the wait.

The ""infinite veranda " concept has been available on river cruise for a couple of years

Thanks Andy. Bummer. Was looking forward to doing a TA on her.

Oh well guess I'll be keeping my reservation on the Symphony! [emoji16][emoji12]

Yes! Go to the normal celerbitycruises.com and select ships -> Edge. And under that link there should be an option for deck plans. let me know if that doesn't work for you and I would be happy to post the link

The UK site does not have that option (or if it does I cannot find it) and when we put in Celebritycruises.com it defaults to the .co.uk site. However if there is a link then that is usually OK - so can someone please post the deck plans?

Sorry - just noticed the link above but unfortunately it defaults to the UK site and no deckplans to be seen.

Thank you.

Also, can anyone please explain how the balcony works? I just cannot work it out.

Looks like it was just a press event and for the life of me, don't know what purpose Nate served.

Totally agree Don. I liked his TV show, but he looked out of place today, and unnecessary to this very special event. I could say more, but I always try my best to be polite, so l will leave it at that. Let's hope his contributions as "Design Ambassador" will yield big dividends for Celebrity's Guests.

I got in however it doesn't show the decks where the restaurants, shops, and casino are located. Says coming soon.

Yup. Most of the public venues are absent. The deck plans pretty much reflect what was mentioned at today's reveal.

Being that most of the "coming soon" deck plan locations are on Decks 4 and 5 (and Deck 3 aft), and, it's where many of the venues are located on the S-Class, - that's likely where we will find the above locations. Perhaps the MDR will also be on Decks 3 and 4 - but it's all speculation for now. Time will tell.

I will post on this thread, on 12/16/18 - when I'm onboard the ship. Seriously, I'm not entirely certain, but "glass doors" were mentioned in the presentation. Whatever it is, it looks interesting and surely innovative.

If in fact there is a MDR. Several sources, who were correct about things announced told me that there may not be an MDR. At this point some changes are still possible based on feedback and difficulties that are encountered during the build. As I've stated far too many times this is a copy cat industry and the emphasis has shifted from "loyalty" to "high margin" passengers.

One more question. For those of you who called to book with Celebrity directly, how far out are they booking Edge cruises? In other words, can you book January or February yet?

Yes, you can book January & February 2019. It seems the latest Edge sailing available at the moment is 4/14/19. Hope this helps !

Interesting Orator. If you look at Deck 3, that sure looks like a MDR at the Aft - but then again - that's purely speculation. It will be interesting to see if they do something radical by eliminating the MDR. I sure hope the MDR remains. If not, that may prove to be a deal-breaker for us.

Not a deal breaker for me, but how well has the no MDR concept worked on other lines?
