Who booked on edge

I don't think I'd worry too much about the magic carpet. From what I gather it's not going to be whizzing past your stateroom every few minutes and I read that passengers will not be in it when it does change floors etc. So it might just be one person inside operating it two or three times a day etc.

I'm not worried about it going past my balcony. ["Hello sailor!"] But when it is parked on deck 14 my deck 12 Balcony is going to be in deep shade -- we'll see how that feels.

Frankp - just booked the same cruise in E2. We love starboard but want to see what this "magic carpet" does.

Also, smoking only in small designated areas on Celebrity so not worried about that.

Can't wait.

The Deck Plan site already has this:

Enjoy!

Copied this from the features part of the link...could there really be No Spa or fitness center or show lounge...or just not yet added into the deck plans? That seems odd .

I was going to wait until we sail on the Summit at the end of the month but I wanted a specific cabin so I booked through my cellular carrier using points towards the price ($3138.44 took the $300 OBC as a perk). I will check when I am on the Summit to see if they have a better deal....

Cruise Line: Celebrity

Destination: Caribbean Western

Ship Name: Edge

Departure from Ft Lauderdale on 1/20/2019

Category: SV Stateroom: 12263 on deck Deck 12

Booked April 21 2019 - C1 cabin on deck 11 port side: C1 was less than an E3 for this sailing. Now according to website all concierge class on that sailing and several others are sold out already.

I love booking new ships!

Booked an Infinite Veranda this morning for 2/24 Eastern Caribbean. We wanted an accessible cabin, so we decided it was best not to wait. The three perks offered by our TA, clinched the decision.

Excited for more details! Just give me Cafe al Bacio, Martini Bar, and Solarium and I'm all good!! :D

I took my S1 corner aft off hold and paid the $500 today. I was still told that it was an infinite glass wall and larger than the S2's and S3's, but still do not know if I totally believe that or not; only time will tell...Dec.13, 2018 for all the special gatherings and things...but who knows for sure...

Most of those features will be added. They never release full deck plans this early. However, many of the features you have listed are not on Celebrity anyway - they are on Royal Caribbean.

The lack of rock walls etc are definitely our draw to Celeb but a ship without a spa, gym or theatre just seemed wierd to me....so I am glad they will fill in the info later on,

.Not sure what site the link went to but it helped us decide to book AQ today.,Got a nice location and our ,Celeb Cruise Planner was very helpful

Last night our friends booked the Jan 6th, 2019. So This morning we did too. It will be our first suite (Sky Suite S3).

We also booked a Sky Suite S3 for the Jan 6th cruise. Now the wait begins :)

We caved....didn't take long. After seeIng some of the video design illustrations it seemed we'd be unhappy if we missed out at an entry price and there was not much else out there on X for a Jan cruise.

We booked Jan 2019 ( b day cruise ) for the Eastern Carib itin in AQ class on Deck 10, opposite side from the Moving Deck..it is an Infinite balcony...we enjoy AQ. No chance for us to move up to a suite...took the Classic Alc package as a perk.

I did the same for April. Buying the second perk was minimal (less than $100 ea) and gets you $300 obc, which you can use to pre-pay gratuities and still have some left over. Best value.

Booked an E3 for 2/17/19 before the deck plans were available. Need to do some more research now to see if I want to change cabins or if it is worth it to move to an E2 or E1.

Would love to try a Suite and the retreat but as we travel with two little ones, the price for 4 is a bit more than I'd prefer to spend. Would jump on it in a heartbeat if it were just the two of us.....

Thoroughly confused by this post. Thank goodness most of the "activities" you have listed appear to be on board. They don't belong on a Celebrity ship in my opinion.

There is however, the largest outdoor pool at sea and a very prominent jogging track

As for the :features':

The following are confirmed either by the deck plans or by the person we booked with and then confirmed again via online chat regarding the Edge:

Casino

Solarium is adult only

Spa & Persian Gardens will be there

Movie Screen on Roof Garden

Show Lounge/Theatre

Salon

Fitness Center

Teen lounge/fun factory

I just came across a picture on Celebritys's FB page of Sky Suite. It says that Sky Suites do not have infinite verandas.

We are also booked in S1 aft cabin. I wonder about the views from the balcony with the rounded end of the ship.

Is it me or does that 'king size bed' look a little narrow?

We initially booked an infinite cabin for the inaugural cruise on 12/16 but after looking at the deck plans we decided to switch to a SV on deck 7. Way more than we wanted to spend but life is short and this cruise should be very festive.

Did you miss the warning on that page?

We are currently adding this ship to the database. Not all information shown is complete.

First, I meant Dec. 16, 2018...I was told only the S1's have the infinite balcony by two reps; however, it is really not important to me, as I want an additional window too. I enjoy the layout on the S class ships of the corner aft suites. Thanks for the photo, but I am hoping the corner aft will give me a great reason to not cancel. The balcony of 160+ sq. ft. is exciting, but not if it is just long and darker...time will tell...Thanks!
