lindyloo17 Posted April 10, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 10, 2017 Hello i was just showing a friend where my room would be on a cruise on the sapphire. A242 Aolha deck. It has a small black arrow in the room... on the plans ? .yet can't find a key to explain what that means. I've taken a screen shot but not sure how to post it on here from my phone. Any help would be much appreciated... first time with Princess so want to get it right. We know it's an IF (cheap inside cabin) . Thanks

Rare Essiesmom Posted April 10, 2017 #3 Share Posted April 10, 2017 It's a triangle and indicates that there is a single pullman (upper bunk) available. EM

nukesubsailor Posted April 10, 2017 #5 Share Posted April 10, 2017 The symbol for your cabin denotes a cabin that can accommodate a third person. Probably a bunk that retracts into the ceiling or folds into a wall.
Thrak Posted April 10, 2017 #6 Share Posted April 10, 2017 The symbol for your cabin denotes a cabin that can accommodate a third person. Probably a bunk that retracts into the ceiling or folds into a wall. I would think it would be folded into the ceiling and only noticeable as an outline on the ceiling if not being used. I don't believe there are any cabins with bunks on the walls except for 4 person cabins.

We met a couple on one of our recent cruises who were traveling with their mentally challenged adult daughter and the three of them stayed in one of those cabins. Crazy???????? Dobby_The_Ship_Elf Posted April 11, 2017 #12 Share Posted April 11, 2017 Now how does this make you feel :o When you said it was Crazy??Tony as a father of a 28 year old daughter with high-need autism this may be an 'option' for us to think about if we ever wanted to include her in our travel plans I do not want to shame anyone, I want to thank the OP for raising the topic so I could trip over it to find this option
lindyloo17 Posted April 11, 2017 Author #13 Share Posted April 11, 2017 Thank you all for the speedy replies... there will be only 2 of us and we don't plan to spend much time in our cabin. As this is an all girls ( no hubby's or kids ) 50 year birthday adventure. If we needed to move to help another person or people get a room they need...we would be happy to. It's nice there the options for us all to consider. Thanks again
