Barry H Posted May 27, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 27, 2017 When switching out your bar items, can you get liqueurs such as Tia Maria or Crème de Menthe? I know that you can change liquor for beer or beer for liquor. What other options are available?
GweninTX Posted May 27, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 27, 2017 No -the only thing close to a liqueur is the Cognac! You can swap the whole set up for 2 coffee cards or a bottle of wine Sent from my iPhone using Forums

(2 of each 8 total) You can trade them for more of the same one for one or beer one for one.

Sent from my iPhone using Forums Yup, and last cruise we wanted 20 Diet Cokes and had to wait a day before they could get them from the pallets - too many people asking for them and the pallets were behind other food just loaded. ccruzer123 Posted May 28, 2017 #13 Share Posted May 28, 2017 Is this done through room service? Depends on the ship. In the past we have always had our room steward take care of it but this last cruise the room steward told us we had to call room service to exchange drinks. It has always been room service, so asking the steward just adds another step to the process. I suspect some stewards are just more willing to make the call, but they do not do the switch. Barry H Posted June 3, 2017 Author #22 Share Posted June 3, 2017 On your cruise post on the questionnaire. What would make your cruise experience better: You want the ability to choose your bar set up before leaving home. Also request that the in cabin entertainment systems be brought up to Royal class standard of on demand for the movies.
sunsetbeachgal Posted June 3, 2017 #23 Share Posted June 3, 2017 (edited) We trade in some our items, it can be challenging to get through to room service on embarkation day but no problem the next day. We also give a cash tip to the room service person who brings the items.
