The app is supported on Adventure, but no texting capability on Adventure yet.

Thank you Provo for that explanation of how the texting works within the App. I just wish it was available for Symphony in two weeks. 🙁

Word on the street is Harmony now has the free texting feature in the app.  I am hoping Symphony is next, within the next month!

Yes, the app shows the "Beta" quote in the upper right corner of the app like Allure.

Looks like the new Royal App has been updated with a “beta” chat function in the top right and an “x-ray” function (whatever that is) beside the dining icon. Don’t think either work until onboard but hoping the chat feature is functional in a few weeks for our cruise on Harmony.

For Harmony, yes it has been reported that the text feature and the X-ray feature were activated last week and are working.

find a plaque on a wall and press the X-ray button and it brings up a picture of what is behind the wall.

Actually, doesn’t it bring up a live video feed? The example I saw posted showed a feed from the bridge.

The x-ray feature works on Oasis as well - you get a live view of a camera from the back of the bridge.

The bridge one is the only one we noticed - it seemed to be more like time lapse, not quite live video feed.

My iPhone app doesn't have that Beta widget, is this a screenshot from an iPhone or Android phone?

It's not the phone that matters, but the ship. Only Allure and Harmony have it, for now.

Just checked this morning and it’s on my app for March 15

Mine still says that my reservation for this ship not yet available in this app.   March 29th sailing.

Its there for our 4/26 sailing  it says "We've found your reservation.  Please check back for cruise detail closer to departure."

On the Navigator on 3/15, had to uninstall the app then reinstall it for it to find my cruise.  Now have to wait for a date closer to departure, but the app is now working.
