Every day the snacks and vino @ wine'o clock - 5 o'clock for me Mr Gut. Have to go on a big diet before the next 3 cruises. New Year resolution, probably last a couple of days. Driving up to the Gold Coast for 10 days, Xmas with brother and sister, couple of stops going up and back. Few kilos there.:o Have to find some edible pies for Uncle Les on the Pacific and New England Hwys.

First you must try a Ridgey Didgeridoo Glut free. Then there’s the pie cart at Lismore, I think they do a Glut free. And there’s a good one at Port that I’m pretty sure does them. Of course tried Haydens at Ulladulla, up the road from me. Good GF pie, $7 each though.. Now on our Xmas drive up to Qld, first night is at Raymond Terrace - Heatherbrae - Sir Francis Drake Motel, so on your advice I will be sampling a dogs eye in the town, perhaps for breakfast. Not stopped in Raymond Terrace for a 100 years.:*

No doubt you called in at a few truck stops for a giant truckies mixed grill. Had a few of those, escorting the wide loads, circa late 1960's, and throughout the 1970's. The servo cafes, Golden Fleece etc used to have a dining area out the back for the truckies and coach drivers, all the meals were double the size of what the normal traveller got, and a ton of chips with every feed. Those were the days my friend.:halo:
