Can'tstopcruising Posted October 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 20, 2017 We have done b2b many times and received a discount for that. Next summer, we are booked for Alaska and although it is one cruise, we booked two cabins. Does Celebrity give a discount? They should. It's like b2b, 1 cabin on each of 2 cruises is equal to 2 cabins on 1 cruise!

It is highly unlikely they will give you a discount. If only one person booked for each room, you may get solo pricing .... if that even applies. But, discounts are usually given only if you book 8 cabins or more ... not 2.
phoenix_dream Posted October 20, 2017 #3 Share Posted October 20, 2017 Your math may make sense, but it won't happen. We have often booked two cabins as we traveled with relatives but never got any kind of discount for that. You have to book quite a few together to get some kind of discount. Not sure why they even give a B2B discount, but I am not complaining (although they do not advertise it, nor do they offer it if you don't ask - I think that is wrong). Anyway....perhaps it is because the room stewards do not need to work as hard turning over the room as they do for new passengers (although if you are changing cabins on a B2B that argument doesn't hold water either). If you are cruising with 1/2 children or young adults or another close couple booking a (larger) suite can work out as a viable financial alternative....no discount but usually significantly more perks and advantages....just a thought! Rare Keith1010 Posted October 21, 2017 #7 Share Posted October 21, 2017 I don't know of any cruise line that gives a discount for booking two rooms. Keith
bigbenboys Posted October 21, 2017 #8 Share Posted October 21, 2017 In the past we have booked 4 cabins. We have never got a discount. We do have a b2b planned for March. We booked the same sky suite. I think the discount for the b2b was $50 per cruise if I remember right.
