Rare crusinthrough Posted November 24, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 24, 2017 The Elite happy hour is held in the Sky Observation Lounge. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Alakegirl Posted November 24, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 24, 2017 There is no dedicated space for Elites. They use all or part of the Sky Lounge or they issue drink vouchers.
Tiggertastic Posted November 24, 2017 #4 Share Posted November 24, 2017 It is 5pm to 7pm in the sky observation lounge Sent from my iPad using Forums
leaveitallbehind Posted November 24, 2017 #5 Share Posted November 24, 2017 Also, it is held every night except the first night and the night of the Captain's reception. But you would be invited to that as well and it is held in the same lounge.

dkjretired Posted November 25, 2017 #8 Share Posted November 25, 2017 What ships are excluded from the nightly Elite cocktail hour? None, they all do the nightly cocktail hour, you will receive a letter in your cabin when you arrive which will tell you times and places of the evening event and the morning breakfast. leaveitallbehind Posted November 25, 2017 #9 Share Posted November 25, 2017 Celebrity does not have an Elite bar fleet wide... So you mean by this that they don't have a dedicated bar for Elites? This was already addressed which is why I was confused - I thought you meant some ships don't offer the cocktail hour, which I didn't think was correct. I am aware of this - thank you for confirming.
Xport Posted November 25, 2017 #10 Share Posted November 25, 2017 I thought you meant some ships don't offer the cocktail hour, which I didn't think was correct. You are essentially correct... The Millennium and Solstice class ships all offer the Captain's Club Cocktail Hour for Elite, Elite+ and Zenith members... The small ships serving the Galapagos itineraries--Xpedition, Xperience, and Xploration [Celebrity Flora will replace the latter two in May 2019]--do not... We are cruising next month Will be boarding as Classic on the second day of our cruise will be Elite My question will they give us the elite benefits for the remaining cruse days Sent from my iPad using Forums
Rare cruisestitch Posted November 25, 2017 #13 Share Posted November 25, 2017 No you will not become Elite until the cruise is completed and it actually takes about a week for the new points to be added to the system after that. You don't change status during a cruise.
