Flamingo33 Posted March 2, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2018 Does anyone know when Casino Royale will be communicating the official start of the new program and into which tier you start at? I know the new program was supposed to start March 1....
Rare BirdTravels Posted March 3, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 3, 2018 I thought it was April 1. We got the email back in December, but haven't seen anything since.

Rare Cruisegirl6 Posted March 3, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 3, 2018 So with the new tier level, say a person plays and gets 5k points the old system would give a balcony stateroom what would the new system give? I realize if I understood correctly, all the points you build in a years time will establish your tier and from what I also understood every year after December 31st you roll back into having no points, which means no complimentary rooms unless you reach a certain amount of points on your first cruise? I am so confused lol.

You will keep the tier you earn for the year, based on your play from the previous year for free drinks in the casino and no fee at the cashier. You will still earn certificates based on your play each cruise, and it looks like a free bonus cruise each year based on your play. I could be wrong, but that's the way I understood it. sellwingri Posted March 3, 2018 #9 Share Posted March 3, 2018 I’m on b2b cruises that lasts from mid March until mid April. I called Casino Royale to see if they could tell me if the points I accumulate will go toward the new program or will they split them exactly on April 1st. Of course they had no idea so I’m hoping the casino host or manager will be able to answer my question on board.
Etkk3436 Posted March 8, 2018 #10 Share Posted March 8, 2018 I just got an email today from casino royale. A free cruise for 2!!! Just had to pay port charges. I was on anthem in January and was at 3600 points and got that free cruise also. Does anyone know if free drinks in casino is for the whole year? Love2cruise77 Posted March 8, 2018 #11 Share Posted March 8, 2018 Also got the free cruise email. Booked one of them and was on the phone with them, so I asked, I was told that the email to tell us about the tier we are in should be sent within the next few weeks... Flamingo33 Posted March 8, 2018 Author #12 Share Posted March 8, 2018 I received the email as well. So to be clear, this email is unrelated to the new tier system?
Etkk3436 Posted March 9, 2018 #13 Share Posted March 9, 2018 My thought is they are trying to pacify the casino goers die to the new role out of tiering and website issues

I was on anthem in January and was at 3600 points and got that free cruise also. Does anyone know if free drinks in casino is for the whole year? Help me understand. We were told that they considered Mid-2016 through December 2017 when setting your tier level for 2018. And that the new earning period was April 1, 208 - March 31, 2019. If that is true, then points earned January 2018 - March 2018 are not going toward any tiers????? We had one cruise in this window.

And that the new earning period was April 1, 208 - March 31, 2019. If that is true, then points earned January 2018 - March 2018 are not going toward any tiers????? We had one cruise in this window. We had 3 cruises in January, one with significant play. One casino agent told me that the benefit for the first year was going to be through March 31. Another agent told me it was through December 31. just to add more confusion, one of those January cruises actually began on December 31. So how are those points counted? Also, not sure how they can run a benefit through March 31 and then give you your new tier information on April 1. We are interested to learn the correct information as we have a cruise in early April. Confused. M
Etkk3436 Posted March 10, 2018 #18 Share Posted March 10, 2018 So that is the same info I have been told. At first it was thru 3/31 and now not. 12/31/17 is the reported cutoff for the new year meaning 1/1/18 and on points go towards 2019 tier level!! Very upset as I also have points in that window. Don’t want to start at 0 on 4/1/18 cuz we didn’t cruise for years! Now have 4 scheduled! 3 in 2018 and 1 in January 2019. I got a survey email for my call to club royale and I typed a very lengthy reply. My suggestion is for anyone who gets a survey to be honest and type out your concerns!!!!! PompeySailor Posted April 1, 2018 #22 Share Posted April 1, 2018 Got my email today. Dear Graham Thank you for your loyalty to Casino Royale for the past 18 years, we have enjoyed banking the large sums of money you have invested in our CASINO program. As you know Royal Caribbean really does not care anymore about loyalty or the amount of money you have spent in numerous casinos on many of our fleets ships. As a token of our gratitude for your loyalty, we are offering you one free drink, an exclusive OLD CR VIP cap and a collectors T-Shirt. In addition to these wonderful benefits, you will receive a key chain and a $5 match play coupon that is only valid on single deck blackjack. We have a cabin offer on deck 2 with bunk beds on Empress for a 3 night sailing to nowhere, unfortunately the casino will be closed on that sailing so no free drinks for you. Your new tier based on the 7 figures you have spent in the casino over the past 18 years sees you at our entry level of SELECT. We hope you enjoy the great benefits of our basic level which anyone who sets foot in the casino can reach. Please pass on to your family and friends the good news on this great program which truly rewards loyalty. We look forward to seeing you on your next cruise so we can personally thank you for your money and loyalty. Casino Royale.

Rare Cruisegirl6 Posted April 1, 2018 #24 Share Posted April 1, 2018 That was very nice of you to post thank you. Just another thought, that is for the "old casino Royale" program, I wonder what the new program be like, in other words how many points is needed to get the balcony under the new program, it was 5k in the old program. cruisegirl1 Posted April 1, 2018 #25 Share Posted April 1, 2018 I was told the email letters would go out March 31. Then I was told April 1. So the program starts April 1 and as far as I can tell, no letters have been sent. Glad I am sailing today. I am sailing in a few days and want to confirm my benefits prior to sailing. Anyone get the email regarding the specific program changes and their level? Graham-good post M
