Following along your super live review ;-)... just makes me a little jealous but we’ll be on board on three weeks from tomorrow... a couple of detective questions if you get some inside information: 1) is there expected to be Cruise Director rotation in the coming weeks / sailings after the transatlantic ? 2) same question applies to World Bar bartenders?

Thanks so much for posting the Celebrity Daily daily. It helps me get a rough idea of what type of activities are offered and at what time. Most importanly I know what time Bingo is...my favorite. Maybe my TA cruise in October will be when I actually win at Bingo rather than just conribute to others :-)

Last 2 years we have done a TA and on each of them there have been over 1100 Elite, Elite+. With so many Celebrity gives out 3 drink coupons good at some bars between 5-7.

May I ask you to check if this is a case on your cruise?

Are you planning to go to Qsine for any dinners? A previous poster stated that Le Petit Chef is now the standard for every night. That's too bad....we really enjoyed the original Qsine concept but willing to try this new one. Would be happy to hear of your experience if you go, and what the price will be. I had read that a cost of around $45 was being contemplated, but during the very recent initial trials it was being sold at a promotional price of $25 pp.

Thank you for this post Paul/Edward I hope you have smooth sailing. - I have a quick question, since booking this cruise I've been informed that I have to go gluten free. :/ I have the drinks package as my perk; since your on the ship can you tell me if they have Tito's vodka? Seems like a silly question but this seems to be the only vodka that doesn't bother me. I know it's not on the Celebrity site on the liquor list, but sometimes they have additional brands not listed. Thanks again.

Last 2 cruises on Equinox Tito's was available on Classic Package. Add -Love your live reports Paul!! Keep them coming!

Oh my...should I cancel my dinner pkg and just wait...I have my dates, times and reservations already made, so maybe I will keep them. We only purchased a three dinner package and have Luminae, After all, I am on the cruise after yours. Can one choose Le Petit Chef as one of the choices? For some reason I think not, but am I wrong? I do not eat lobster due to being allergic, but would enjoy the dinner fun! so many choices and just so much fun to look forward to!

 

How do you drink and eat so much on vacation?

Yes I’ve seen Tito’s at the pool bar. I’ll check for it tonight at the Martini Bar but I think I did see it there too.

So on this cruise they’re doing the coupons but no more paper coupons! They’re loaded onto your sea pass card and you can visit any bar. This is the first cruise they’re allowing happy hour at the martini bar! But it is only the small martinis and other standard cocktails.

I’ll ask and find out. Talking to lots of the bartenders it seems like most came on in the past couple of months so they’ll be staying for a while. Currently Adrien (Adrian sp) is at World Class. Haven’t talked to him much yet but I’ll be there a few times and will see what the plans are.

He was the bartender at World Class last year on Eclipse and he's a really great guy!

I think he said that at the end of our cruise they were making him a manager................

Before dinner we went to the....can you guess....? Martini Bar of course! They’re already at a point to where they are getting seats for us. They’ve been incredible. So we had our martinis and then another and then finally Lawn Club.

 

Lawn Club was great as usual. Edward had the dry aged strip and I had the lamb. It was pretty crowded but service was excellent today and very quick. Great improvement from the first night.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So above you’re looking at sausage and peppers flatbread, salad, lamb chops, and blueberry cobbler.

so glad to hear your enjoying yourself. We did the fall TA in 2016 on Reflection...

memories are the best. We are back on Reflections in December so enjoying seeing

all the photos. thank you. We are hoping bar servers Milton ( who looked after us on

Equinnox in November- please say hello from the crazy Canadian family) and our all time fav

Damien will be on board in December for us.

I will be following along and am sure to enjoy it all...thanks again for sharing !!!

Okay...how are you doing in your cabin, especially since you were on an RS last cruise? Do you just stay out of your cabin more and at the bars or other venues? I think one can always go back to a more simplistic cabin...

Thank you for the wonderful day to day updates. I will be on the Fall return TA on the Reflection, and your insight will help to enrich our experience.

I noticed that there seem to be specialty dining discounts on a regular basis but wonder if there are any discounts on drink packages?

I was on the Eclipse right after in left in January (According to the WCB). They told me he was leaving the Cruise Business, obviously not true. I wonder why they would make up such a story.

Good evening everyone. Well it is almost 2:30 here. We are back from the casino. So far the blackjack tables have treated me well. I’m up overall after about 5 hours of play. Tonight we had dinner at Murano. We were very happy with the service provided. Our waiter was Walter and he was fantastic. Another waiter / manager recognized us from home he Equinox and stopped to chat. He suggested we come back to see him for the Steak Diane. We definitely plan to do that.

 

Tonight Edward had the split lobster, yes that’s right they mad a charge to the menu. For $29 extra you can have a whole lobster. I tried a small piece and it had some great Grill notes but was still very juicy. I had the Dover sole for dinner. To start we had the cheese plate and I had the salmon crab parfait and Edward had the buffalo mozzarella salad. For dessert we just shared a crepe made table side.

 

Overall we were very happy with the entire service in Murano. A nice step up from my previous experience on the Eclipse I wrote about. We definitely plan to pop back in a few times this cruise. Here are some photos from tonight’s dinner.

Haha, good question. We wish we had more space of course, but honestly we haven’t missed it much. I thought I’d miss it a lot more and have a hard time with the change but it’s not been too bad. We had to be a bit more organized with our storage. If anything I miss access to Luminae and Michaels more.
