I resemble that comment!

JP,  you would not leave socks on a chair to save your spot!  That I know!  That leaves that you were born in a manger.  That I can believe!  🥰  Your halo shines!

I wouldn’t normally post here but I cannot think of a more appropriate place, so this is “sockgate” from a nameless Silversea ship.

Well, I suppose it is marginally better than "Unmentionables Gate"....  Perhaps the gentleman was wearing socks with his hurachi sandals when they were called away on important business.

Did you call 'sockurity' to have them removed?

Ah, my coat and taxi, thank you.

I think the socks belong to Mr Silver to stage this photo😊

Fellow Watercoolians:

Perhaps too much silliness has been applied to the Sockgate matter.  Still, it does beg a serious question:  How does one denote that your (full to brim) drinks haven't been abandoned, and if you take my chair, I'll give you the Joe Palooka treatment, clear into next week!  Herewith a few suggestions, that are perhaps a bit less de classe:

*A couple of diamond stickpins (I'm looking at you, Daddy Warbucks!)

*A pair of ballet flats, preferably not well worn.

*A violin and perhaps a piccolo.

*Blue suede shoes, preferably Ferragamo, with silver buckles.

*A string of pearls might suffice.

*A nice Homburg, and a Leopard Skin Pillbox Hat!

This is for @mysty and other Canadian coolers:

Atlas Welcomes Canadian Celebrity Chef Massimo Capra

Thank you for the heads up Jazz! We must be out of the loop as Chef Capra rings no bells!  Folks in the Toronto area might be more informed!   We do have another Canuck on the cruise line that cannot be mentioned in charge of S.A.L.T.  Oops,  did I give it away?  😬

Very classy suggestions WWFT!  I'm thinking DW's time honoured towel suggestion and perhaps an unread novel would deliver a clear message!  😁

That's lots of flying.  Glad that J.P. and Chris are back home.  Will go over to the Ponant CC board to catch up on your nice visuals and details.  Rest and relax!!  What's your next great adventure planned?

THANKS!  Enjoy!  Terry in Ohio

Terry - we are on Silver Wind in early June, Helsinki to Hamburg. Expedition cruise with all stops off the beaten path. Tons of daylight. Less than 3 months to go!
