C&A Welcome Back Party?

Recommended Posts

I’m confused. I haven’t seen a welcome back party for some time. Every cruise I have been on in the last 3 years has had a Top Tier Party. Are they different or just renamed?

Same party, just no gold level members.

On Harmony and Allure, the Suite/Pinnacle was held on the Helicopter Pad during a sail away.

To hot. Was it leaving Labadee?

On Mariner they did a suite only event on helipad leaving Crete. Nicest one I've ever seen. Full bar, music, etc..

Yes. It was Labadee. Only champagne.

On Freedom, there was a nice Suite/P/D+ 350 up luncheon with officers that was very nice.

I remember the good old days when Diamonds were included in the Helo pad party. They also used to do a special ice show for top tier. I also remember the days when there was food and entertainment at the top tier party. One time, can't remember the ship, the captain performed - he had an amazingly beautiful voice, it was a real special treat.

I think Mariner did an ice show for Top Tier

Favorite is still Oasis when the synchronized swimmers perform to Can't Stop the Feeling.

Rick Sullivan sings.

They did that on Harmony during her maiden season in 2016 out of Barcelona.

They also dove into the pool from the highest point at the back of the ship.

Yes, that's the finale.

That song didn't come out till end of 2016.[emoji848]

Hmmm, the old "hippie" songs about hair. How about "If You're Going to San Francisco... Where Some Flowers in Your Hair"

That's the song they played as we went under the Golden Gate bridge on Mariner back in 2009. Very fond memories of that cruise.:)
