Rare sprint180 Posted November 12, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2018 Another thread made me think of this. When we were there in Febr 18, the island had hardly anyone left it seemed by 2 when we went back to the ship. We did not wait for a tender. Is this uncommon? We were thinking about going later around noon and not coming back till late in the day but if it is usually busy later we will go in the morning. Thanks Vicki
neverbeenhere Posted November 12, 2018 #2 Share Posted November 12, 2018 Relax until late, the ship won’t leave without you.

How late does the ship stay there? When be have been there, we usually had to leave the island by around 3 at the latest. Do be aware that lunch service may stop soon after 1 PM. OCruisers Posted November 13, 2018 #6 Share Posted November 13, 2018 Normally, we leave soon after when the bar is giving "the last call for alchol". The time they do this can vary ... sometimes as early as 2 ... sometimes as late as 4 ...
Rare geoherb Posted November 14, 2018 #7 Share Posted November 14, 2018 We like to get there early and leave in time to have lunch on board the ship.
Micahs Grandad Posted November 14, 2018 #8 Share Posted November 14, 2018 We were there for first time in October and lines for lunch were horrendous easily a half hour long mostly in the sun. By 1 pm we got tired of waiting on the line to get more reasonable and went back to the ship for lunch. Is this common?

christinelee Posted November 14, 2018 #11 Share Posted November 14, 2018 We have been to Princes Cays 13 times. Ship always leaves at 4PM with last tender at 3:30.

The last two times we were there we grabbed something, tacos & chili dogs if I remember correctly, at the street wagons over the bridge to the right. There was also a great fruit table on the left hand side with no lines. No fine dining at Princess Cays.
