Free lunch with Central Park Balcony cabin

 Share

Recommended Posts

I was informed a few months ago that CP guests on Oasis are allowed to use their Giovanni's lunch on embarkation day, but it seems this is no longer the case, and it is only usable on sea days. Any more updated information/experiences from anybody?

Current perks for Central Park Balcony om Symphony in July, no mention here of sea day only.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

  • Savor a complimentary lunch for two at Jamie's Italian, Sabor or Johnny Rockets®.
  • A complimentary bottle of red wine welcomes your arrival.
  • Step up your game with casino gaming lessons from an onboard expert.

Kind of hard to eat at Sabor on Symphony as Symphony has Playmakers not Sabor.

I know this isn't exactly what you're asking but on our last Harmony cruise being in a Boardwalk cabin we were able to use our Eat,Drink,Play any day and time to eat at Johnny Rockets...it wasn't limited to lunch or sea day only. Also used our C&A BOGO milkshake perk in conjunction with this too.

I have a Central Park balcony on Harmony leaving Sunday. How do you find out if you get a free lunch at Jamie’s or Sabor? I booked this a year ago and don’t remember anything about this perk. Was it a certain promo?  Thanks

Not a promo, it's a regular perk of your stateroom category.

We were on symphony Christmas week with entire family.  Had a fabulous free lunch at Jamie’s.  Also on harmony last year.  The lunch menu is unbelievable and they bring loads of appetizers and desserts!

On our last Oasis cruise we picked Sabor. A letter was left in our cabin and it said to bring that. My parents did not get there letter but we all went together with no issue. Just let them know we were using our free lunch for a central Park Balcony cabin.

That's the Boardwalk promo and I believer lunch at JR is up to 4 Pax in cabin, while the CP promo is only for 2.  I used the lunch promo at Giovanni's for both Allure & Oasis.

Cruising on Symphony in early Feb. and hoping it's Jamie's.

Ps.  Does anyone have the Jamie's lunch menu.

We cruised Symphony this past summer on the Western Med cruise.   We had the Central Park balcony, which was great by the way.   Our cabin included the complimentary lunch at Jamie's for sea days only.   We didn't realize soon enough to actually go over to book your lunch in advance  because the later lunch times were all booked up and we ended up with a 12:00 pm lunch time.   Nonetheless, lunch was fantastic.   Our sailing had the same menu for lunch and dinner.   In fact, the easiest thing for us was to allow the wait staff to bring a selection of their choices, like a tasting menu,  which included the boards, appetizers, main pastas and desserts.  Best meal we had  on that cruise, and the food on the whole ship was great overall.

Just didn't see this as a perk for the room when we booked for our April cruise. We got $100 OBC instead.

It's not widely advertised as such, but it is there. The OBC was just a promo running at the time.

Hoping that this is indeed a regular perk of our cabin. Wouldn't mind a lunch at Jaime's or Johnny Rockets. Just didn't see this as a perk for the room when we booked for our April cruise. We got $100 OBC instead.

The lunch and bottle of red wine comes with the CP balcony on all Oasis class ships.  The OBC may be a separate promo. eg.  non-refundable cabin fare, etc.

We had a CP Balcony on the Harmony last week.  Booked Jamie's as soon as we boarded for the first day at sea lunch.  It was AMAZING!  Our server, I believe her name was Fontinda was awesome and made sure we had an exceptional experience.  Order the Pavlova for dessert.  You won't be sorry!IMG_0319.HEIC

Confirming that 1 free lunch is indeed a standard perk for booking a CP balcony, along with a bottle of red. There are several restaurants to choose from - on Harmony, we could pick from Sabor, Jamie's or Johnny Rockets. Make your lunch reservations on the day you board, as they book up FAST.

Anyone have any first hand knowledge regarding the red  wine that is delivered?

Thx.

On Allure in April Easter week, it was St. Martin Merlot (reserve).  Prior cruise on Oasis it was Coste & Fossati (Barolo (?).  Not much of a red drinker and tried to exchange for a white type--very rigid--No.:classic_angry:  However, it was not a problem as D+ drink coupons, we were able to order drinks in the MDR and got my white.:classic_biggrin:

OK, now I am confused about this perk.

So, is the free lunch something that must be done on embarkation day or can it be another day?     (We are in a central park balcony on Allure.)

Is the main dining room open for lunch on embarkation day?

(We are traveling with another couple who will be in an ocean balcony, so we want to be able to go to lunch together on embarkation day.)
